Introduction - Why on hit teemo?

First of all, hello and welcome to my guide.

Why on hit teemo you say roger? Well on hit teemo excels with teemo's passive ability binded to e 'toxic shot'. what is on hit? on hit is when you attack a champion or minion an items passive e.g. Life steal or malady, Life steal will give you health back everytime you attack an enemy champion or minion and malady will lower the enemy minnion or champions magic resist so your magic abilities (and on hit abilities) hit harder

Items - why?

Malady as a first item, why? Well malady is pretty much the gateway item to other on hit items such as madreds, black cleaver, wit's end etc. Not only does it lower your enemies magic resist so you can deal more damage with your 'e' and other on hit abilities but it also gives you a great amount of attack speed for a low priced item. So malady as a first item is a most...with few exceptions.

Madreds Bloodrazor second, howcome? Well as the game progresses you usually get your madreds between 15m-25m at this time usually the tanks are tanky and champions such as lee sin or olaf will already be building health, this helps to counter them. Along with other reasons but that was the quickest to type up.

Frozen mallet, wat why? The health is a good boost, i mean a good 700hp plus 20 attack damage and an on hit slow? this item is crucial for escaping and chasing i don't think i need to go into much detail for this item the need is fairly obvious

Wit's end? Well the wit's end is important because the madreds boosts your armor but you still have default magic resist, so with the boost of wit's end an AP champion (Ahri , Le Blanc , Kennen) can't burst you down quickly.

Hextech Gunblade, wait.. that doesn't have an on hit effect like frozen mallet or Madreds Bloodrazor? Well actually it does, can you read? A lot of people dislike building anything on an on hit Teemo that is in any part slightly off the normal list of on hit items e.g. Malady,Madreds,Frozen,Wit's end,Black Cleaver,Ionic spark etc
Well Hextech is the perfect replacement as it gives you not only one on hit effect, but TWO! the Gunblade gives you life steal and spell vamp. During teamfights and 1v1s lifesteal is crucial but when vsing an AD carry since you already counter them with your Q but you also gain HP back from it, PERFECTION!

-If there isn't an AP champion on the other team Black Cleaver is viable to swap out with Wit's end-

-You can also swap out your wits end to something like a ionic spark but i wouldn't recommend it

Summoners Skills

IGNITE AND FLASH!

Whenever i play Teemo i almost without fail will always get flash and ignite but there are other summoner skills that are still viable

This is one summoner skill which is almost pointless on teemo, his W is pretty much already a mini-ghost so please..don't do this!

Exhaust is the second best choice next to ignite. I'd reccommend getting exhaust if you're laning with someone who already has ignite. Okay so later in the game when you have your Frozen Mallet your exhaust isn't fully needed as it slows down your enemies already but exhaust will also slow their attack speed so you can either set up an easy kill for yourself to get or another way of escape. Using exhaust then placing down a shroom is a great tactic for escaping (The more you know..)

Ignite is the best pick for teemo, this adds to the on hit damage over time carnage teemo can create. Using ignite with teemo is best as an initiation because you can then spam your Q and auto attacks and deal a massive amount of damage over seconds and with Teemo's poison and ignite the damage overtime factor will help result in a kill if they somehow escape.

Flash is good on any damage and is pretty much a default summoner spell. I always use this to help jump walls in an escape or pursuit i'd recommend this.

Tactics (Also Q,W,E,R tips)

Teemo

Q: Teemo's Q is a good way to harass an champion in lane, if you have enough mana try to Q a champion every minute and a half to keep their health low when in laning phase. This leads to many kills and helps to zone the enemy champs.
Whenever going into a fight you must use your Q, always try for the AD carry or another AD champion as hitting an AP champ won't help your team out at all. Shooting the right champion can help turn the tides in a teamfight, pick wisely.
When initiating a fight always run in with your Q especially in a 1v1, it can help melt an AD's damage as those couple seconds that champion can't hurt you are vital. After using your Q if vsing an AD champ wait till its effects have worn off before using ignite to half their life steal, If its an AP champ you're fighting use your Q and F almost simultanousely

W: Teemo's W is a mini-ghost and excels when used to chase after a champion or running away /dodging skill shots. A good tactic with teemo's W is to combo hiding in a brush then using your W before leaving shooting your Q and a basic attack onto a champion then returning into the brush, this will help lower your enemies HP and zone them. be wary of stuns and pulls when using this tactic.

E: This is the basis of your on-hit damage. The best way to harass with Teemo on a mana budget is to run at a champion basic attacking once and returning to the safety of your minions. Continuation of this helps to zone. Be careful if fighting under a tower if you poison a champion whilst under the range of a tower the tower's agro will focus you, Teemo can't take too much damage before coming completely fragile so try to either clear the minions or the tower first. Diving with teemo can be quite hard with tower agro and its best if you refrain from doing it.

R: SHROOMS! WHO DOESN'T LOVE A GOOD ENEMY TEEMO WHEN HE SHROOMS YOU TO DEATH? SERIOUSLY! IT'S NOT ANNOYING!
When placing Teemo's shrooms there are 3 things you need to consider. Minions, Turrets, Champions. Will minions walk into this giving me farm? Is this too close to a turret ; putting a shroom close to a turret will force the turret to destroy it, yet it doesn't take tower agro. Will a champion walk into this shroom?
Farming minions with your shroom is a great way to get farm without staying in lane and is also effective when used to stop the enemy pushing too hard before you or a teammate can defend the tower. Try placing shrooms in the middle of lane for this to take effect.
Turrets, putting a shroom anywhere in a towers range is pointless because it will just destroy it after a minion wave. Seriously don't even waste your shrooms doing this.
Champions, Is this shroom in a area where champions will walk? this is a big thing for teemo, a shroom can potentially save your life or grant you one when placed correctly. Trying placing shrooms in high-traffic areas such as brushes, dragon and baron. Shrooms can also be used as wards to see where enemy champs are going or taking, placing a shroom at Red/Blue/Dragon/Baron is great because it allows you or your team to steal it

When running away the best thing to do is to first bust out your W to move as fast as possible and then basic attacking the enemy chasing you, if the enemy champ is going to get you place down a shroom to slow them down even more. If the champion is on low health putting down a shroom and help turn the battle from defense to offense be wary of this as it can grant you many kills

When chasing a champion you want to pop your W to catch up to them, if the enemy is exhausted or stunned/slowed putting a shroom in their path will slow them even more for longer allowing enough time and damage for your team to put them in the graveyard!

SHROOOOOOOOOOOOOM PLACEMENT

Here because after seeing so many people who play teemo not understanding where to place their shrooms i decided i should teach the masses.
Your shroom should be used almost like a ward, you want vision in that area but you also want to stop potential ganks.
Here are some pictures within a picture (piception) to show where you need/should place your shrooms!

In my opinion its better to save it then open it on photoshop or your web browser
(right click the image after you've saved it and select open with, then click on your web browser (Firefox etc))

Things not to do

-BUILD NASHORS TOOTH.
-BUILD NASHORS TOOTH.
oh and BUILDING NASHORS TOOTH.

THIS IS NOT AN ON HIT ITEM AND NEVER WILL BE! DON'T TRICK YOURSELF INTO THINKING THIS IS VIABLE ON AN ON-HIT TEEMO, YOU BUTTLICKING ****-SMEARING HEAVY BREATHING MONGOLOID!

SHROOMS DON'T STACK SLOW OR DAMAGE! SO DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME PUTTING 20 FREAKING SHROOMS IN ONE SPOT IT WON'T STACK! However putting a small gap between them (half-one shroom gap) does stack in damage and slow

DONE RANTING
for now, don't make me post more things here >.<
