Introduction

Hello everyone, it's RagingSpartan here, ready to teach you the ins and outs of Talon, a champion with some of the most incredible burst damage in the game. Talon is also amazingly adept at escaping unfavorable situations with his ultimate, Shadow Assault, allowing you to burst down enemies and get out before they know what happened. He is also fun to play, in my opinion.

(Video to come at a later date)

Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the information you need to dominate any opponent that stands in your way.

Runes

For runes, I usually opt for a strong early game and rely on early kills and farms to roam and carry in the mid-late game.

Marks
For marks, I think it's best to go with flat AD for better early game farming and harassing.

Seals
For seals, I would choose flat mana regen for easier farming and harassing, and for making quick escapes with my ultimate if I don't manage to kill my target.

Glyphs
For glyphs, I recommend flat MR for better trading and protection against your mid-lane, AP carry opponent.

Items

Starting items:

Boots + Health Potion x3

Explanation:

A boots + 3 pot start will allow you to dodge enemy skillshots, chase, escape, and makes recovering from trades and enemy ganks much easier.

Core

The Brutalizer, Mercury's Treads, and Bloodthirster

Explanation: Outdated as of 12-24-12 (Will be updated soon)

Personally, I believe this is the best core for a Talon player. For one, Avarice Blade is a relatively cheap item and will pay for itself by the early mid-game, while giving you a decent amount of crit chance and building into Youmuu's Ghostblade. After that The Brutalizer will give you a nice AD boost and a good amount of armor penetration for shredding down those squishy, and even tanky, enemies. Mercury's Treads will help you out with additional movement speed and magic resist, while also granting some Tenacity , which will help against enemy CC. Finally, you get the icing on the cake with Bloodthirster. This bad-boy gives you a massive amount AD,and the most a single item can offer, non-crit, with 30+ stacks. All of that AD allows you to burst down enemy carries no-problem. You also get a good deal of lifesteal, which allows you to trade more effectively and sustain yourself in lane. What more could you ask for?
