Hi, My name is eVo Ventus, and I'm a gold 2 (and rising) adc main. Graves is my current main and I'm here to show you how to use this burst damage carry to destroy solo queue

Runes I run standard ad, although unlike some graves can get away with scaling armor/mr if he's facing a late game champ, as his passive gives him enough resist

For masteries I run a standard auto attack ad page. Nothing special

For items on graves there's two paths, ghostblade or PD, read too know when to do what.

I max q first for the damage the nuke does, followed by e for the attack speed steroid, which lowers cooldown, and w last. Of course max ult anytime you can

Flash is mandatory on any adc
Heal is the best second summoner for adcs at the moment, so pick it up!

Early game as graves you want to farm up while harassing the enemy laner, as graves's q has enough range to bully any ad for last hitting. Once you hit level 2 or 3, go in with a full passive stacks, and charge in with your e q. If they try and fight back you should easily win since you have tankiness, but if they fight then keep autoing and don't forget to use w!

Mid game as graves is usually when you have your I.E. and boot, and this is a huge point in graves as he can kill almost anyone on the map. Use this pressure to take all the outer turrets and pressure objectives, while also staying even in farm

At this point you should try and pick teamfights, while also setting up death bushes, since graves's burst can 1 shot any squishys. If you can't do one of those two, you should pressure objectives and stay back and wait for a teamfight, as you have low range which could be capatalized on.

During teamfights as graves, you want to smokescreen the backline, which remembering to kite back with e and unleashing damage with Q's. Overall graves is pretty hard to kill in fights, and it can be an instant teamfight win if you get a smokescreen to the backline, as this is like a 1 second stun as there just trying to get out of it.
