This helped me so much, I'm kinda new to this game. And one day I bought nasus because he looked cool. (yes that is le only reason!) I went with the recommended build for a couple games and then I just rage quit nasus. So after playing nunu and shaco for a while, I find this build randomly when I'm looking for natalus build, idk what drew me to it, but i tried it and i won very very hard. i kinda like this build. I always thought nasus was a bad champion because he cant win top. Then i tried this build and it worked beautiful! THANK YOU LOUGHT!

thank you for your feed back. i have actually changed my marks and quints to movement speed and marks to armor pen on my account. I've also started using flash heal because when i get dove by 2 people and i heal, ult, slow, and fight until im low and flash behind my turret when they are slow and usually they die or have already run.

Nasus also plays the role off an offtank that does heavy damage, while being tanky. With a GA, you carry your team while being a tanky champ. GA does the same thing as it would do for anyone else. Gives you a second chance to fight. Late game, that might be what gives you the push. Gives you dual resists as well.

I have to disagree with KoreanSP about building GA. It's ineffective on a tank as it amkes you lose focus. why focus somebody who won't die?

Personally, I found this guide to be incomplete with incoherent items and runes. Building Gold quints and AD marks seem to not match each other as you don't need extra AD on Nasus since Q-last hitting is quite simple, and you won't commonly be using your physical attack. Nor do Gold quints make sense as you are a solo-top, with the idea to farm farm farm the first 30 minutes of the game, not for money, but for Q-stacking. Getting Armor Pen for runes, and Movement Speed/Armor Pen/HP quints would be more logical.

Your items make little sense by themselves. Banshee Veil on Nasus is very ineffective unless you are facing a Veiger/ LeBlanc/Strong AP. But you get it in both builds. Similarly, early thornmail is useless for it just provides 100 armor, and a passive that is weak until later on. A frozen heart (Mana which you need, CDR, and essentially the same armor, as well as the strongest passive in the game) would be much better for the same role. A pure Warmog seems unnecessary. Rather, a mallet/randuins would do better. And for both builds, Nasus should get a Guardian Angel since it makes Nasus a true tank that, even when killed, will not give away that easily.

All in all, the guide seems rather 'clunky' and although the information is good, it can be much better.

Summoner spell wise, you should not need to get flash and ghost. Rather, replacing one for Teleport, Exhaust, or Cleanse would be stronger. Flash doesn't work very well as you don't need to go to a certain spot to pull your skills, you just need to stick onto to your enemy. You also don't need to flash over walls often since you are tanky with one of the strongest slows in the game.

seriously questions your item build. Thornmail is a bad armor item compared to the others to be choosed from. It gives just armor and a passive that will only be usefull late game. It's also bad because your the tank, you want everyones focus. only a stupid Ad carry would focus somebody with thornmail when there are other to choose from. Rather build randuins omen. the best part is that it has HoG in it. Wardens mail is also a part of it and is a very good armor item early.

Building warmogs will also reducing the focus you get. It can also cause you to gain focus more, but in a bad way. Having both Warmogs and the ulti will give you TONS of hp. Therefore Enemy AD carries with Madreds Will hit you like a truck and make all the hp worthless. Nasus is actually in no need of hp items at all. only if the enemy got someone with heavy true dmg like olaf or darius.

Building Mr that late as a tank is pure stupid if the enemy team is not 4 AD based Dps. you should put in a neg. cloth directly after the first armor item(by first amror item i do not mean completed like Thornmail. A first item can be chain vest.)

AND lastly your build is more of an offtank build then pure tank. Pure tank only builds offensive items if their whole team lack the dmg to win fights. Otherwise so are trinity force a very good item on him.

Not saying this because I think you're stupid and sucks at building a champ. I am saying this because i believe you can improve your build by a lot. That's why i voted 1+. Ad more space, color and pictures in the text and it will be easier and funnier to read. You also need to decide if you want to be Full tank or Offtank. In nasus case, the difference is even smaller then normal. Personally so do i believe he lacks the ability to innate to be fulltank.
