I have been playing for about a year and a half now and I probably still wouldn't be playing today If I hadn't found Riven to be my main.

In the past month I have climbed from Silver 3 into Gold with about 120 games under my belt.

Here are some Recent Games with this Build

Riven is a Top lane bruiser that could be played as an assassin if the enemy team composition allows it. She has almost unlimited potential and even I learn new things about her and how to play her every day.

Pros + No resource limit + Very good skillset + Built In CC + Insane dueling and 2v1 potential. + Huge and Insane snowball potential + Insanely High to no Skillcap.

Riven's Strengths Riven has a lot of tools in her kit which include built in CC and mobility that allow Riven to traverse the map quickly and duel quiet efficiently as well. Due to Riven's extremely high skillcap, you can always have more room for improvement and that's what makes her so much fun! Riven's Weaknesses Riven is very strong if played correctly, but she is vulnerable to a lot of other things as well. Ganks in the early game can typically hurt Riven or make her lose flash. Getting counterpicked by a Malphite also doesn't help. Cons - Susceptible to CC - Difficult to master animation Cancelling - Vulnerable to Ganks - Relatively High cooldowns early - Highly focused - Needs a lot of Gold

As for Riven, there are Typically three Paths that you would want to take for Top lane. The Damage path, Sustain Path, Or the Fervor Path. These 3 Paths will be used most of the time for serious play, although stormraiders surge could be alright in some scenarios, but these 3 trees will most likely be your best bet.

Damage Path

Take this Tree for Most of the matchups. It provides you with insane dueling potential and tons of damage.

Sustain Path

Take this Tree if you think you won't survive in the early game. Take it against Poppy, Renekton, Malphite etc. This tree could be used against Teemo, Vlad, Ryze, Quinn and any laners that will have really hard lane pressure against you.

Fervor Path

This Tree is amazing against any matchup where you won't get immediately bursted. Take it against Volibear, Nautilus, Illaoi, Udyr, etc. This Tree helps provide you with long-term damage instead of burst. All of the hard matchups suddenly became a bit easier.
