Combat

When fighting as the Godyr in AD, start off by hitting an enemy with your E. If you have a tiamat, use that immediately after you stun the person. Then, get into your Q stance, and finish off the enemy. Be sure to kite your enemy (move ahead of them between your attack times) as you finish them off.

Ganking is the same thing, but just keep in mind that you should always stay in front of your enemy(ies).
