The REAL Way to ADC Urgot
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
If your here looking at this build now, you're probably wondering, "Can Urgot ACTUALLY be build the way every other adc can?" Well, of course! Urgot doesn't have to be the black sheep of the marksmans, he can be played just like everyone else! This build is here to teach you how to do that.
This is where the real heart of this guide is. In Short, i'm going to list the purpose of the item buys in order. Triforce - the movement speed and spellblade, as long with the other stats, just make this a necessary first buy. Essence Reaver - everybody knows that Urgot uses heavy mana, but i assure u with this item, no mana problems will be included. Berserker's Greaves - too obvious for explanation. Infinity Edge - A must-buy for every adc! unfortunately, you cant afford to rush this with urgot due to the mana problems, but doesn't mean u can forget about it. Blade of the Ruined King - the active, lifesteal, attk speed, and passive is just a great combo for Urgot. Youmuu's Ghostblade - I had a hard time debating whether this was more worth it than the stattik shiv, and either will work, but i chose youmuu's for the CDR and active, mobility is important for any adc.
Why Urgot? answer is simple. to be THAT guy. the hipster that can't play along with the meta. If that isn't you, than your probably the guy lookin' to disrespect, Trick2g style. NOBODY wants to lose to an Urgot.
I'm not saying to not play Urgot this way in ranked, but i WILL say that i made this build with the purpose of having fun and trying new things; NOT to win. Play at your own risk.
Pros / Cons
-Strong early game
-E Q combo for some sniping; hella' fun.
-Max disrepsect; breaking the meta
-Weak Late Game
-Team will probably give u **** for trolling
-most supports wont know how to work with you
In short; Use your ult to put the adc right in the middle of the sausage fest during the teamfights. ez fight, ez game, ez life.
Q - Pretty much your the knock off of ezreal, which is the bot lane of Gangplank. However, with this build specifically, you only use your q for sniping people when u have your E on them, especially early game. its too much mana for what it's worth.
W - The shield is one thing, and its pretty damn cool, but you really use this skill for the slow. ez way to chase down an enemy.
E - Save this ablility until the enemy is low enough health to be killed with a few sniper Q's. when that happens, land this on them and do exactly that, get them long range snipes.
R - IN LANE: save this for escapes when your too far pushed and dat 'mumu comes in from behind, or use it to put the enemy under your turret. you can also use it for tower diving when theyre really low and u have an AP support by your side. TEAMFIGHTS: 1 - ult adc 2 - gg no re
Freezing lane - simple last hits with your basic attack.
Pushing - constant auto attacks with a Q for the last hit.
