I will try to show how to win top easily step by step during this bruiser guide. It will contain runes, masteries, playstyles and builds. By follow my guide you will learn how to contain all the skills a good top laner should master.

As you might allready know, tanks are easy to play (most of the time) and pays of even more often for the entire team. As if you meet someone who needs to snowball on you, like talon/kha/fiora or riven you will probably have a good time not letting them get a kill on you early game and being able to defend your team lategame. One word, easy.

Runes a kinda obvious. You should try to grab some health per level seals or armor. Mr/per level glyphs, and maybe some kind of pen as marks. Some ad/ap isnt to bad, but wont give you the tanky advantage you might like, but bonus attack speed for shen or hybrid pen for shyv can also be a great.

Farming can be quite the hassle if you dont have any bonus ad or masteries that help with lasthitting minions. But when you get used to the basic attacks of the different champions, you'll get all the farm you want. Sometimes harrasing and zoning enemies can be a bit hard as you dont have the dmg to outtrade most of the damage dealing toplaners, but when you get that bonus Hp and armor you can afford to trade and zone out most of the meeles you would meet toplane. Farm untill you can help your team, make sure to never fall behind and keep that gold income high for those expensive items.

You should always try to find your way, never do anything because someone tells you what is the best. You should go with what works the best for you, and what works best for me does not mean the same for anyone else. Find your way, the right way for you.
I remember i used to go bruiser ahri mid rushing Rylais and Zonyas against ad. I always won my lane and always had fun. Now i follow the meta while playing mid, not that fun but might more usefull for other people following the meta as i do.
