Tryndamere

Tryndamere is an epic champ. He can get fed kind of fast. He can carry the whole game if he can. He very vulnerable but he can escape great too. He can spin through walls, won't DIE for few seconds and a very strong ad carry. Very awesome champ only 1350 IP.

Pro / Cons

Pros:
Great Carry
Incredible Ultimate
Huge Amount of Damage Mid through Late Game
Can Escape and Chase very well
Extremely Fun

Cons:
Kind of Squishy Early Game
Unable to Help or Carry under a Lot of CC
Thornmail Hurts
A Good Rammus can stop you
One CC = Slow Mocking Shout
Very Item Dependent
People yell " Tryndamere IS OP" when your fed
Back to Top

Dominion

Tryndamere is not bad in Dominion. He can kill at towers, chase, and run away good. But I don't love him in Dominion because they're a lot speed boost when your trying to chase... when you almost kill them they get a health boost, and the towers are annoying when your choosing to capture it or kill the champ beside it. If you start capturing they'll go back and forth until you kill them then their partner comes and kill you. If you go for the champ you might end up ulting getting the kill and capturing half then the partner will kill you again.

Jungling

Tryndamere Jungling

Less exp now due to new update for the new jungle. Tryndamere has to respawn around 3 already because he needs the items to kill the blue and red. Now he will gain even less lvl (like lvl 2 and half) when you go back so it'll be little harder to catch up to your team mates to gank. But you can still jungle, its easier now.

My jungling is different from the other jungles. This how I jungle. If you don't like it I don't recommend you to use it so click the jungling builds on the right of the list of Tryn Builds.

I start at wolves. I get people to leash it for me because I don't have armor runes and I like the less damage for more health while jungling.
Don't eat your Bloodlust until you kill the small lizards at Red Buff. You should keep it for the crit.

Then I go to the wraiths. I smite the Blue Wraith Leader and kill the rest.

Next I go to the golems. I spin through the wall for little damage to the golems.

Last I go to Red Buff. I ONLY KILL THE YOUNG LIZARDS BESIDE HIM. You can't kill red buff with your hp now.

I respawn back to base to get Cloth Armor and about 2-3 Health Potion. You should be around lvl 4 or 5 so you can continue jungling or gank but you'll be slow on movement speed.

If you continue jungling head over to Blue Buff. Smite him around 600 hp to finish him off.

After blue buff go through jungle and kill the...

Wolves, Wraiths, and Golems

again for my Smite to get off its cooldown for Red Buff. If you ever get low and think you might die use a Health Potion.

Finally go back to the Red Buff and kill him. It should be easy because his minions aren't with him but remember to Smite him around 600 hp too.

]

After you're done going through the jungle, you respawn around lvl 5-6 and get your items for more jungling and ganking. Wriggle's Lantern, Boots, and maybe a few Health Potion. Around lvl 8-9, YOU CAN kill dragon alone or set a ward at dragon with your Wriggle's Lantern but doing it with your team is better for protection. You can also go gank.

Tip: When a teammate is needed help for a gank or need you to protect a tower until they get back. It's best to go help them because your jungle will still be there and towers don't stay forever.

Tip: The other guides go like 27-3-0 masteries for the extra 10 gold on Smite for jungling. I don't think its a good idea because 1st, you will have less time with red buff while jungling. 2nd, 10 gold extra on Smite isn't really worth it to put a point in. 3rd, I prefer 21-0-9 masteries for jungling.

Farming / Early Game

Its best to last hit with Tryndamere. It's not recommended to go aggressive with Tryndamere because he doesn't have bunch of crit early game. He needs the gold to get items. He is very item dependent and kind of squishy early game. He is not best for solo lane either.

Mid / Late Game

This part of the game when you should have at least Berserker's Greaves, Zeal, Emblem of Valour and Infinity Edge or parts of the Infinity Edge. This when you should be getting more and more fed. Might even be......

But it's how smart YOU play Tryndamere. Keep carrying the game and getting more items until you win the game.

Tip: When you are fed, you're not invincible. You might not die for 5 sec when you use your ultimate but as the ultimate is worn off. Your just one those squishies in the teamfight. Play smart and use your Undying Rage at right times.

Ability Usage

I max out Undying Rage when its every ready to lvl, then Bloodlust, next Mocking Shout, and last Spinning Slash.

Battle Fury

Tryndamere gains Fury for each attack, critical strike, and killing blow he makes. Fury passively increases his critical strike chance and can be consumed with his Bloodlust spell.

Tryndamere just has to hit, kill, or critical strike any minion or champ to gain Fury to increase his critical strike chance or to use his Bloodlust spell to heal himself.

Bloodlust

Tryndamere thrives on the thrills of combat, increasing his Attack Damage as he is more and more wounded. He can cast Bloodlust to consume his Fury and heal himself.

Tryndamere gains more AD the more he loses his hp. He can use the spell Bloodlust to heal himself using Fury he already has.

Mocking Shout

Tryndamere lets out an insulting cry, decreasing surrounded champions' Attack Damage. Enemies with their backs turned to Tryndamere also have their Movement Speed reduced.

Tryndamere yells at enemy champs around him (Chicken Noice lol) and cause their AD to decrease. Enemy champions with their back turned to him are slowed.

Spinning Slash

Tryndamere slices toward a target unit, dealing damage to enemies in his path.

Tryndamere spins toward a target unit, hurting enemies in his way. He can spin through walls.

Undying Rage

Tryndamere's lust for battle becomes so strong that he is unable to die, no matter how wounded he becomes.

Tryndamere can't die no matter how low in hp he gets.

Items

My items are listed above at my item sequence.

Situational Items

When I ever wanted to go safe because of high AD team or high AP team. I go Guardian Angel late game.

It has a great passive, gives armor and magic resist.

I don't go Mercury's Tread a lot because I don't die often while fed. It gives great tenacity and magic resist though.

I get this when I ever am not fed, not getting enough or any kills, or feeding.

I love this pot. 250 gold only and when I get it I crit and attack faster. Like I had 3-5 during mid game. End the game carrying with 20-6. <3 this pot.

If there is a Jax I go Sword of the Divine to replace Zeke's Harbinger.

I go Madred's Bloodrazor when I want to rip through hp.

I go Last Whisper when I want more Armor Penetration.

Runes

My runes are mostly Armor Penetration and Attack Speed.

Greater Marks of Desolation

Greater Seals of Alacrity

Greater Glyphs of Alacrity

Greater Quintessences of Desolation

I prefer these runes for Tryndamere because you won't need so many crit runes because he goes off fury now. 40% crit chance with only Brawler's Gloves at full fury is great for farming and lucky enough to crit enemy champs. I often get first blood too because people doubt Tryndamere damage early game. I get attack speed runes for getting fury faster to heal myself or farm faster in lane. You can also can go....

Greater Glyphs of Furor

Greater Seal of Furor

for extra critical strike.

Masteries

I go 21-9-0 listed above.

Taking a point in Summoner's Wrath for the Exhaust for the 10 less magic resist and armor.

I also take a point in Veteran's Scars for extra hp for early game lane.

Summoner Spells

Exhaust

Flash

Best spells for me. Spin helps me escape most times too but flash does better.
Ghost

This is good spell too but I use it mostly for only Dominion.

Ignite

This is nice, but I need the exhaust for slow, less magic resist, and armor against an enemy for damage.

The other spells are all not recommended for Tryndamere.

Team Fights

In team fights you want your team to initiate first. They will start fighting. Your part is to kill their fed champ or go for their squishes. If few people with barely any CC try to stop you then continue on and kill some people, Undying Ragethen run. It their whole team goes for you then your part is to try to Undying Rage at the right time for your team to crush the other team while your running.
