She out damages you early, and maybe late but remember your not looking for duels or 1v1s she cant really follow you she is to slow pressure her by shoving mid roaming and trying to get some scraps in once you get some items you should be okay and probably even kill her.
Introduction
Little Bit About me
Hi,I have over 1000 games on Twisted fate, and I have played him to every possible extent- every build and every possible rune and mastery combination. I am here to help you with the basics of Twisted Fate; how to play him in lane, mid game, and late game. I will help you understand match ups and learn which are favorable for twisted fate and which are not. I will teach you how to apply pressure with your cards and where to place important wards on mid side. Here you will pretty much learn everything to play Twisted Fate properly.Rank-D5
How do I lane?
Normally you want to let them push. Remember ,though, you are and do no damage. Let them shove and last hit with Pick A Card (blue/red card) or with Wild Cards. If you see a chance to harass/poke, go for it. If not, just don't and continue last hitting. Last hitting is very important on since your passive Loaded Dice gives you extra gold (on average 4 extra gold). Only poke when you won't miss cs or it's free(try not to trade cs for poke). Focus mostly on the cs. REMEMBER ROAM WITH DestinyHow do you team fight with Tf
Best case is you get a pick with gold card and your team is with you if you don't have enough damage. Before you Pick A Card gold card, you want to have your Stacked Deck passive with sheen. You can one shot someone with Stacked Deck gold card combined with Wild Cards
If you can't get an easy pick, let your team go in and throw Wild Cards from a safe distance until someone tries diving your carry. If so, you want to instantly gold card them and change focus and just kill him. Then look for an opportunity to TP behind them with your Destinyand gold card kill them. Remember, if you start to teleport with your ultimate you can cancel it using Zhonya's Hourglass
Blue Card
blue card to last hit and freeze the wave in combination with Wild Cards early game you should not run out of mana. When you have Stacked Deck and you hit them with a blue card its a pretty big chunk of damage for pretty much free every time its up try and go for it.Red Card Use red card to shove the lane when it starts pushing to your side,to shove a wave quickly you Wild Cards
Gold Card Only use gold card to get free harass or when your jungler is coming to gank your lane, try not to use gold card by its self. (When you are teleporting using Destiny you can use Pick A Card and lock in Gold card before you port in or after)*
When you pick a card and throw it for 4 seconds you are vulnerable so be careful until you have your Pick A Card Pick A Card IS NOT RANDOM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tp***Jo2MDE&feature=youtu.be
Summoner spells are as follows. These are the best for Twisted fate:
You can run this with flash but don't run it solo; Good for chasing people down
If you are facing an assassin, like Zed or Talon, and you think are going to die, grab it. Not only that but exhaust is just op.
This is the alternative to exhaust. It's not that useful but in those certain match ups it can help you survive that extra damage. This also has a lower cool down than exhaust.
Generally, you want to ward the enemy's raptors and you want to have vision for your jungler to know where their jungler is. Ward raptors and the typical river and bush wards. Then just hug those areas.Warding spots...
Best Runes? The runes really depend on match ups. For AD match ups like Talon and Zed, you really want to run AP quints; armor yellows, magic pen reds, and AP per level blues or flat AP blues. In heavy AP match ups, you want to go with AP quints; HP per level yellows, flat MR blues, and magic pen reds. For CDR you can run AP quints; magic pen reds, HP per level yellows, 6 CDR per level blues and 3 AP per level blues. Against AD match ups you want CDR. Run the same rune page but switch the HP per level to flat armor. Then you can just run movement speed quints, HP per level yellows, and AP per level blues/ flat MR blues.
Good pick potential.
Amazing at roaming.
Can split and teleport behind enemy team.
2.5 second stun guaranteed in late game.
Helps your team snowball
Global pressure.
Cons
Really bad match ups
Hard to play
Hard to master
Hard to have an impact
Out damaged early
Hard to do things if not played properly
Cleanse Is a pretty big counter to Twisted fate, just try and force it out any way you can.
Quicksilver Sash Also counters you, when they have it down or you force them to QSS port and kill them.
