Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Creeping / Jungling
the jungle routes i take are:
-first take the gromp with smite(ask your top lane for a leash)
-take your blue, use whenever available your turtlestance
-take the wolves
-take the razorbeaks
-take your red
-take the krugs
make sure you use during the first four steps only 1 health pot
-first take your gromp without smite! (ask for a leash)
-then take the blue, use your smite here and whenever available your turtlestance
-take your wolves
-take the scuttle crab, make sure you use turtlestance here till you have full health
-now solo the drake, change between tiger and turtlestance whenever possible and use 2 potions as soon as you lost 400 hp ,make sure you use your smite
-now you can take gromp again, but if you are worried to die just recall, do this on a safe place in your jungle!
For teamfights, don't engage. You're better at picking than engaging an entire teamfight. Work around your team to find out when to go in. For example, if Blitzcrank lands his Rocket Grab, you immediately stun them and that will work as the engage. Their team starts looking at everyone as a whole, and not the giant Herculean legend bearing (hehe) down on their back line. Really any distraction at all works, just as long as it's not you walking straight over there. If you wanna flash in, let your teammates know, because in my experience your team is even more surprised by it than the other team, and don't react very fast. While in the teamfight, you're gonna have to do something everyone is gonna hate you for: you'll have to bail out as soon as you're taking all the focus. Udyr has a lot of damage in a teamfight, and the enemy is gonna notice and try to peel you off their carries and burst you down ASAP. If you can leave the fight as soon as your health is low and come back when everyone's health is low, you can turn the fight. Tanking for 2 seconds more isn't nearly as helpful. This sounds like a douche move; screw it, it is a douche move. But it works better this way, trust me, and if you win the teamfight you're probably a better pusher than whoever died because of this. After a few months of maining him, you will notice how effective this is.
