Intro

DaRealWario here, bringing you my guide to AD Urgot in the PvP or Vs Bot matches. Urgot is a ranged DPS with the ability to chase down weakened targets with perfect timing of his spells. His damage output relies on high AD, while his defensive Terror Capacitor relies on AP. The masteries and Item build are up to you, but general builds ignore AP.

Items

Manamune: This provides early mana bonus, as well as much needed AD. Be sure to use spells a lot in order to get more out of this passive.
Ninja Tabi: For movement speed, which is half of Urgot's role as an Assassin. If at least 3 enemies are AP based, buy Mercury's Treads instead.
Last Whisper: I've been having much less trouble ever since I added this to my build. Urgot thrives on heavy damage, and this will help a lot.
The Bloodthirster: This is meant for earlier in-game, but it is mainly a boost item. It has the best of AD bonus and Lifesteal to help Urgot stay in the action longer.
Maw of Malmortius: An unusual AD item that grants a 400 HP shield upon taking AP damage that brings you below 30% HP. It also has an AD bonus that scales with HP lost to help you counter being cornered by a higher-HP enemy.
Spirit of the Elder Lizard: A new item that gives decent AD and Regen. Its "Incinerate" passive helps to deal damage late game against Tanks and +120 Armor Champions that would normally control Urgot completely, due to his lack of long-term damage.

Skill Description: Acid Hunter

<Instant>
A skill shot that fires in a line towards the cursor. It will fly until it hits an enemy or times out regardless of cursor distance, but when aiming for one enemy in a crowd, remember that Acid Hunter does not have pin-point accuracy even if you do. When aiming for an enemy affected with Corrosive Charge's buff, Acid Hunter will fly towards that target instead of in a straight line, but will still time out if the target flees far enough away.

Skill Description: Terror Capacitor

<Instant, Buff>
A buff applied only to Urgot himself. It adds a small amount of HP to the current amount for 7 seconds. The amount of HP can be boosted with AP items, but for most builds, this move is mainly used for escaping. The shield also grants a Slowing effect for Urgot's auto attacks and spells.

Skill Description: Noxian Corrosive Charge

<AoE, Aimed>
Fires a canister at the location, applying a toxic buff to the targets for 5 seconds. This buff damages the target every second, cuts its Armor, and upgrades Acid Hunter to always hit the highlighted target as long as the buff is active (2-3 shots). The AoE of actual effect is slightly smaller than it appears, so try to center the aiming circle on a fleeing enemy Champion to hit.

Skill Description: Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser

<Aimed, Buff>
One of the game's most unique buffs. Urgot freezes the target in place for 0.8s, then swaps places with that target. During and after the spell, Urgot gains a large amount of Armor and Magic Resist for a short time, while the target's speed is cut for the same duration. Most players bait the target close to a Turret or planned gank and throw them in to it using this move. It is also useful for tricking targets and delaying ganks or chases.

Ability: Zaun-Touched Bolt Augmentor

<Buff>
Every time Urgot hits a target (Turrets excluded), its AD is cut for a short time. This is useful for gaining the upper hand on melee attackers like Dr. Mundo that often rely on high AD to hit closer targets.

Summoner Spell Ratings

Heal: 4/10 Urgot isn't a front lines champion
Barrier: 6/10 Good for escaping last-hit spells and Turret-based death
Exhaust: 7/10 Good surprise for offensive enemy Champ
Clarity: 9/10 Good for early/mid game. Much needed if your build doesn't include Manamune
Ghost: 9/10 Part of Urgot's chasing strategy
Flash: 8/10 Part of Urgot's assassin strategy
Ignite: 6/10 If you can't last-hit a fleeing enemy, this will
Garrison: 3/10 Completely useless...for me and pros, a 0/10
Teleport: 4/10 Overkill...just creep through jungle
