I run 21/9/0. Explanations:
Summoner's Wrath
- Since we are taking
Exhaust we want their amour to be reduced by 10 when fighting them. 10 armour reduction isn't much? Umm.. yes it is.
Brute Force
- Helps you last hit. Since we are starting with
Boots and 3x
Health Potions, the 3 AD is helpful. That is greater than 1
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage. It's like taking 4 of those quints!
Alacrity
- Helps you last hit. I take this because it also stacks with his passive,
Living Vengeance so you can last hit multiple minions within a 6 second time frame. You are going to be last hitting so this helps you attack faster to hit those minions.
Weapon Expertise
- 10% armour penetration. Makes you hit harder.
Deadliness
- 0.5 attack damage per level masteries. You will be hitting pretty hard already, this just gives you a little kick.
Lethality - Since we are grabbing
Infinity Edge early, we will be hitting really high. This provides 10% crit. strike damage. The passive from
Infinity Edge boosts your critical strikes to hit 250% instead of 200%. You will be hitting 260% now with this mastery!
Vampirism
- Life steal... Pretty self explanatory.
Sunder
- 6 armour penetration. You will be hitting harder with this mastery.
Executioner
- You will be hitting 6% more damage to enemies that are 40% health or below. Helps with 1v1 and last hitting.

Resistance
- Taken for the magic resistance and to fill a slot.
Hardiness
- Taken for the armour. Since you are going to be at bot against other AD carries, you are going to be taking quite a bit of damage from them. This reduces it by a bit.
Durability
- This makes you a bit beefier. Since you are quite squishy this helps.
Veteran's Scars
- This makes you beefier as well. Since you are squishy, this helps.
