I played AP Nasus at a lower ranked rating than I am (smurf). In order for me to snowball my first 2 kills, I have to go Tear- Chalice - Sheen - Abyssal. I would highly recommend adding Abyssal to your build because it's very cost efficient and it's very good against all champs. Also, I'd highly consider going Cooldown Reduction boots instead so you can get your 40% and spam W in team fights. I think Luden's would be a fantastic option with your E. :) Love the guide! Keep up the good work.

@OrionJA, You would never prefer to go AP nasus rather than full tank, Max CDR Nasus. It's fun to troll and try new stuff. It's actually very viable too. The thing I noticed the most was that I never missed a CS.

Your guide doesn't really explain when or why you would go for an AP Nasus rather than a traditional full tank Nasus. You've got Lich Bane, so you're committed to using auto-attacks for damage. With Stormraider and possibly ghost, it seems like you are hoping to stick to people and chase them down with sustained damage. You talk a lot about the importance of stacking Q.

If your gameplan is to farm up your stacks, then rush the enemy team and kill them with DoT and repeated Qs, why overlook the standards like Dead Man's Plate or Sunfire Cape?

1. Question, how is Nasus gonna stack that tear up, he has no spamable spells? Just going for Athene's Unholy Grail should be enough, the rest is a waste of mana.

2. Rush Zhonya's Hourglass, without it, your ult is basically useless.

3. Don't combine Iceborn Gauntlet with Rylai's Crystal Scepter, the slows share the same unqiue passive. Rather go for Sunfire Aegis instead if you need more armor. If you don't need it, go Lich Bane. You can also go Iceborn Gauntlet + Sunfire Aegis for ultimate armor. Another option is Abyssal Mask.

Your feedback is appreciated, however;
As much as I would like to revise this guide thoroughly, I can't find the time nor the energy.
Life keeps me busy.
I'll see what I can do.

Because of your masteries choice and item choices you have nowhere near enough defensive stats to survive any competent opponent. Nasus deals sustained damage not burst unless you have a 600+ Q and some crit items built you won’t be nuking anyone this is typical of an AP build too. Also even with an AP version of Nasus 40% CDR is a nonnegotiable requirement. It is the only way to effectively stack q and stay relevant. From what I am seeing at most you have 20-30% CDR with any of your builds. Though your hybrid build offers more defensive itemization the lack of CDR and building in offense when Nasus has no early burst will not help much. Personally I think it would be wiser to go 9-21-0 or 0-21-9 and focus your runes on some form of magic/armor pen with AP Quints or LS/SV Quints for sustain. You also might want to think about Health Seals instead of Armor vs AP heavy opponents. I like some of your stuff a lot I just think it needs tightening up. Your arch mage build might benefit more from early mana regen and defensive stats and only pick one Chalice or Tear not both. Tear is actually probably never a good idea b/c it takes a while to get your Q to low enough cool down that you can spam it quickly. And in regard to the rest of his kit it is really not recommended to spam for the sake of stacking the tear. Hope this was helpful.

" Rod of Ages is an early-game item."

But takes half the game to level up. Wut? haha :)
