Introduction

Hi, this is a quick guide to jungle Warwick. Warwick is a jungler with high sustain, but hard to gank with until level 6. Keep reading for some short summaries of his abilities and basic gameplay.

Runes

The runes I take are focused on increased attack speed, magic resist, and armor, allowing him to sustain against the jungle, and other champions. Attack damage runes and health runes will work as well, and you could even go a straight attack damage route.

Masteries

The masteries I use are focused on attack damage and attack speed, with a little in utility for movement and increased buff time. Going a tankier route or adding in a little more damage will work as well.

Items

I usually start out with Hunter's Machete and five Health Potions. This allows for a little faster clearing time, and more sustain with the Health Potions. Another viable option is Boots of Speed and three Health Potions. This gives you greater ganking power, but less sustain in the jungle. Either way is good, but start boots if you can clear the jungle fast enough to set up good ganks. Rush either Spirit of the Ancient Golem or Spirit of the Elder Lizard for faster clearing time, and greater sustain or attack damage depending on which one you chose. Another good jungling item is Wriggle's Lantern. Having either that or one of the spirit jungling items is a necessity for almost all junglers. Warwick needs to be very tanky, as well as dishing out a fair amount of damage. A great item for that is Frozen Mallet. This slows down enemies with each basic attack, and will help you keep on that high-priority target after you use your ultimate on them. Another good item is Blade of the Ruined King. Tnis gives you good damage, while giving you a very high amount of sustain with its passive and active. Warwick also benefits from attack speed, making Wit's End a great choice. With not very magic resist items in the game, and with attack speed and its passive, this item is almost a must have with Warwick. Adding in a little ability power is good as well, as long as you focus mainly on sustain throughout the build.

Skill Sequence

The skill sequence for Warwick is fairly simple. Max Hungering Strike first, then Hunters Call second, and finally, max Blood Scent last. Obviously put a point of Infinite Duress at levels 6, 11, and 16. You can max Hunters Call first if you would like, but I would suggest maxing Hungering Strike before it.
