Taliyah (Jungle).

Pros

* Great Mobility With Passive

Cons

* Weak jungle clear (Mid game)
* Weak against global objectives (Drake/Baron)
* Wrong use of your R can really mess up your allies and yourself

Jungle Path.

Season 7 Jungle is very good in terms of experience and gold
Taliyah's clear early game is good.

Best Path:

Blue Buff
Gromp
Wolves
Red Buff
Continue as you please.

Tips

-Dont do raptors without level 3
-You will always struggle with krugs.

Jungle Clear.

In early

Taliyah's clear is pretty good since landing Seismic Shove is very easy, and is your main damage source. Make sure you walk away from monsters between auto attacks and that you don't use Threaded Volley on worked ground. Also, it sometimes is worth to tank a little damage and have your Unraveled Earth explode while they are standing on top of them.

Ganking.

Taliyah is not a good pick for power farming, it is best to gank a lot and ensure snowball in a lane (or two). When ganking:

With Ultimate

Make sure you use your Weaver's Wall as an entry point, try and make sure your wall blocks all exits. Use your Threaded Volley without minions to block and lay down Unraveled Earth when near enemy champion. Take some time to land your Seismic Shove, don't rush and miss.

Without R

Make sure to come from a position where you can land you Threaded Volley. If you feel like you can handle Taliyah, try using Seismic Shove then Unraveled Earth to ensure more burst. Because Unraveled Earth has a rather long cast time, make sure to cast it almost immediately after Seismic Shove.

Starting Items & First Back (Jungle).

Start out with Hunter's Talisman and Refillable Potion.
Because you will be ganking a lot in early levels, your first back is not usually low on gold, so the best items to buy are the components to Skirmisher's Sabre - Runic Echoes ( Skirmisher's Sabre is better to buy first).

Core Items.

Taliyah's core items are Skirmisher's Sabre - Runic Echoes and Rylai's Crystal Scepter. It is very important to mention that JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE CORE DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD ALLWAYS RUSH THESE ITEMS!. The fact that they are core means you will need these every game, but sometimes, you might want to buy items which take time to stack (e.g. Rod of Ages), or maybe you want items which can help you push your lead faster (e.g. Dark Seal/ Mejai's Soulstealer). You should aim to have both core items by early mid game.

Semi-Core Items

Other than your core items, Taliyah's builds are very varied and situational. Although there are some items which I prefer to think of as "semi/core". This list is personal, but it is good to make a list for yourself of these kinds of items(even if it is a mental list).
- Rod of Ages.
- Zhonya's Hourglass/ Abyssal Mask.
Because Taliyah is mean to me a mid-lane APC she is very squishy. The combination of ROA and Zhonya's or Abyssal helps you with sustain, something required if you wish to win.

Mid Lane Build

Start out with Doran's Ring and 2 Health Potions.

First Back: Go for Lost Chapter because of the passive mana.

DO NOT FINISH MORELLO UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED ANOTHER ITEM!!

You can choose either Hextech Rocketbelt or Rod of Ages for a more aggressive and defensive playstyle respectively.

If you build Hextech Rocketbelt immediately after go for Rod of Ages
If you build Rod of Ages, finish Morellonomicon and the build Hextech Rocketbelt.

Build Rylai's Crystal Scepter and Guardian Angel.

Since the mid lane does not allow for Taliyah to abuse her passive as much as in the jungle, boots are of more importance.
