Yorick Passive Ability
For the runes I take much defense runes like magic resist and armor, because with this item build you didn't get enough armor and magic resist. Therefore you can resist enemy attacks better without losing so much life. Of course there are also attack damage runes to push Yoricks damage. It's also available to replace the attack damage runes with health runes. Both are helpful and amplify Yoricks passive. Armor pen is really usefull.

For Masteries i chosed a 11/0/19 Build. In this build i wanna amplify Yoricks passive and abilities more. The cooldown reduction is very useful for Yorick in a lot kinda situations. Maybe you must heal yourself, you can use your E spell. If you must chase an enemy you can slow him early enough before he escaped. Furthermore the passive gives Yorick great attack and defense stats, because usually ghouls are acitvated the whole time. This means for Yorick a damage buff of 15 percent and damage reduction by 15 percent.
Starting with an item that recover your mana is very important. In this way Yorick can use his ability much occasionally as normal and that's really useful to push his enemy away from the creps or heal himself. A lot of pressure can be created playing after this item build. Your opponent can't farm creps. And Yorick can't die easily because his lifesteal with the E spell is sufficient.
Best in slot:
-Great to start on solo lane. Yorick gets as much mana regg as needed to use his abilities the whole time without getting out of mana. With mana Yorick is very dangerous, he can restore his life or bomb into the creeps and push the enemy back.
-Mostly the Health Potion were used at lvl 1 when Yorick still haven't got his E spell. Even they Potions aren't used at lvl 1 they can always be used by very low health left.
-By getting lvl ups the mana cost of Yoricks abilities will be increased. This item shall save Yorick for getting out of mana.
-Movementspeed is important all the time. It protects you of possible ganks and maybe you need it to kill your opponent.
-To get Manamune very early in the game gives Yorick a great damage boost and a good mana rehabilitation. Also it's good to stack the passive effect of manamune as early as possible. In this way Yorick increase his great damage.
-These boots are really good. They give Yorick cooldown reduction and allows Yorick to use his abilities much often. In conclusion to that Yorick increase not only his damage also his survival abilities. He can slow his enemys to get away and heal himself more.

Starting with the range spells Yorick could be proctected of much damage. Also Yorick makes a lot of damage to his enemy. If you can kill your enemy, run away or it's even comes to a melee range fight the Q spell is really helpful. So pick it up at lvl 3. I pick the Q Spell at last because Yorick make so much damage that I not long enough in melee range to spamm it. So it isn't as much worth as the range abilities, which I can spamm even the enemy tries to escape.

The best summoner spells are Flash and Teleport. Of course you can pick other ones, but these are in my opinion best in slot.
Optional you can also use other summoner spells like ghost, but Yoricks Q spell give him enough movementspeed.

-With this summoner spell Yorick gets more flexible. With this summoner spell you have also Ghost in it. You can port into melee range and spamm your Q spell and get the movementspeed.
-This summoner spell is perfect for solo top. Yorick did not go back to base that often, but if he goes one time back you are currently back to farm creps and getting experience. Mostly you go back to buy new items.

-Optional you can use this summoner spell, but it's redundant. With the Q spell the whole effect of Ghost is replaced. However, the Q spell in combination with Flash is much powerfull, because it could be used for safety ganks. You can port yourself into melee range and across the slow and moventspeed abilities the enemy almost can't escape. Additionally Yorick deals much dmg in the most kinda situations before someone could come to help.
-Of course with this summoner spell you have a great dot, but the ghouls are working like a dot and you can use them much often.
All other summoner spells are almost barred, because they are senseless and not as usefull as the rest.
