AP Yi will never lose a lane to LeBanc. Q whenever you can, and go back to turret to heal. AP Yi's poke is insane early game, and is the only champion I can think of that should start with Doran's Ring. You can go with meki pendant if you want, but I love the ring for AP and mp5 to get more heals from meditate. If you're feeling like a troll, go ahead and grab teleport to become immovable in lane. Just make sure you get blue when you can, you will probably end up wanting it.

I've never understood the point of AP Yi. He scales into late game just as badly as LeBlanc (or worse) and is similarly dependent on snowballing in order to be at all useful. While it might be true that LB is good at dominating early game and Yi is good at farming safely, by late game (assuming neither snowballs) it'll be a farmed guy with annoying poke but no serious burst versus an un-fed leblanc who can maybe kill one target in a team fight or roam and pick a few people off now and then.
You're countering a champion with a bad late game with another champion with a bad late game. That's how I see it anyway. Imo there are better picks against LB than Yi.  Thanks to JEFFY40HANDS for the sig! |

I say you must start with
 Null-Magic Mantle and 2x Health Potion, her harass combo does less and you'll be able to heal against it. then go for the  Hextech Revolver+ merc threads because she has some nasty cc.

She can also interrupt his meditation , so that's not even a factor. |

Havent seen an ap yi in yonks.
You just gank the guy... repeatedly. Late game? It's a toss up. Hard cc screws him over no end, but he has the ability to wreck your team Darius style with alpha strike <.< Bit of a gimmicky character though. Edit: God dammnit alba. -.-' Want a guide

Why is everyone so in love with AP Yi ?
Everybody, one day will die, and be forgotten. Act and behave in a way that will make life interesting and fun, f*ck a mundane predictable life working monday to friday with something you derive no pleasure from; just living life out till you grow old and wither away. Find a passion, form relationships, dont be afraid to get out there and f*ck what everyone else thinks.
