This was my first normal game on this account after hitting level 30, and my normals MMR already seems to be gold-plat.
And of course, the only account which had never been in gold or plat stomped everyone (with only 2 quintessences I might add!).
It's gonna be a Talon only account when I hit ranked, so name change inc.

...As if that fact matters if the person playing on the account has been in gold/plat? Also, normal MMR is unrelated to ranked so there's still a chance that everyone in that game is bronze in normals :D
but in all seriousness, smurfs usually have highish mmr because you should win the majority of games vs lower level players

Obviously. I was pointing it out because it would look funny to anyone who didn't know who was playing on the account.
Yeah but normals longgggggg ago decided that I was a smurf, and I haven't been matched with anyone who wasn't also a smurf in ages. I assume a silver smurf wouldn't also find himself in my position, they'd still have a silver MMR. I was mainly pointing it out because I didn't realize MMR gained in pre-30 carried on to 30.
