Apparently the bots take into account when someone DCs now. I also had a game with one DC, and the Bot Garen simply stayed in the fountain. Btw. I knew the bots are cheating... That Garen was level 4 at the end of the game (they had 0 Towers) and 4 items ^^

I love Karthus bot btw... It's simply hillarious seeing people constantly complain about him ;)... Oh, and his Qs hit really well

Yesterday I went with Shyvana against Bots and played normally until we had 1 inhib tower down... Then I started running circles in the jungle. My team mates were unable to finish the game at all without me ^^

The new bots are quite interesting. They are definitely much improved and you can't just go in like an idiot any more, which is a shame. I actually did a little write up on the new bots:

They are definitely more enjoyable, and hopefully they'll provide some better training for new players!

I'm pretty sure the bots' items work on a timer. It has nothing to do with gold, how many champion or minion kills they have. Thus, if you don't get your cs zoning the bots out, they will still have more items than you, although you might be higher level.

Personal habitual activites? Utilizing gargantuan idioms to fabricate intelligence.

I do this all the time to finish builds out and see how they work. The worst thing is when your allies are competent and can end the game without you.

I don't think so. If you can repeatedly get a bot to low HP so it retreats, or kill it, in the early stages of the game, it won't have many items. I really do think that the bots buy their items with gold, just like anyone else. I'm just not quite sure how bots make so much money... (And yes, they do make so much money somehow, a 40+ minute game will have every bot with 20k+ gold.) My running theories are that player kills tend to be worth more than bot kills, since players often have better recent kill:death ratios, or that bots have a whole lot of extra GP10 to make up for their bad early game CS.

^ All GP/10 runes? Also, player kills are worth more because we're always legendary, while Galio bot is 0/20/0.

Bots also have ******edly fast skill comboing. Yesterday Brand bot pulled off all his spells in under a second. Really, that isn't fair because they have, like, zero ping.

New bots are still ez mode...They might do better comboing but they're still bots...If people are really finding them challenging I dare say they might want to uninstall...I mean unless they're still learning.

More of a challange than the old bots, but still easy.

But whats most irritating about them, is no matter how many times you kill them, or deny their farm; they'll still get their max item build before you, and I dont know how.

Bots don't need farm or kills....They just get their items whenever. It wouldn't be any difficulty at all if they HAD to farm and get kills to get items. I'm pretty sure bots just have a timed build where they go from x to y items within certain time constraints. That way they're difficult at every stage of the game...Well "more" challenging.

Possibly, but I doubt it. I'm poor and low level, so I use my support GP10 quints on pretty much everything (and hey, at least they're never a bad choice, just rarely a good one) and most of the bots still end up with more money than me, even if I have more farm and they have few kills.

I do know that bots have access to some things that players don't, since Cho'Gath bot still has dodge from somewhere even after the recent change, so they could be using some weird rune combinations.

In addition to this, since they're run by a single AI they have perfect cc combos. Taric stuns you, Cho'Gath puts his Rupture under you to pop you airborne as soon as stun ends, then Warwick ults you as soon as you land. Not sayin' this makes the bots difficult, but it is something that they're perhaps above pro level at, since there's absolutely no cc time wasted and no time spent not cc'd.

I've also noticed two other interesting things. A couple days ago, I played a bot game against Kayle and Lux bot bottom. Usually bot team compositions are made of two melee top, one AP mid, one ranged AD bot, and one support bot, so this confused me a little. I suppose Kayle was taking the role of ranged carry, but it didn't work out that well.

And finally, the bots seem to be counterpicking with their items more than they used to. When they're being wrecked by AD characters, they build more armor, and when they're being wrecked by AP characters nearly all of them end up with Banshee's Veils.

I haven't vsed them yet, are they at least a little better for testing builds / champions against than the old bots? I used to just go right into normal games with new champs because the bots were so horrible.
