They've tested this already, if you see any of DEWO's posts, he has 'achievement badges'.
I've already suggested this to Matt, and he said that they might come later. :P

Yeah noticed that badge before but didn't know they tested it already. Anyway, I think they would fit well in forum composition.

No ELO badges IMO.
If you saw the NA forums right after season 1, so much flaming over those badges. Also, on a fansite, it'd be kinda hard to verfy if you actually had 2K ELO or not.

Yeah, we should stick to forum achievements, so to say.
However I am a bit scared people will just spam guides to get the 1/3/5 guide badge, etc. But I'd like to see that ^^ I bet jhoi will be covered in badges then ;D |

The ELO badge was just an idea. Like I said, more ideas, the better this could turn out if it actually happened.

I've suggested rewards for users like this and the main argument was:
"We don't want people spamming comments/guides/favourites in order to get achievements. Our main reward system here is the +rep system. This is also why we don't have like/dislike functions on comments."

We've wanted to have site achievements for aaaaaaaaaages but it's not a simple thing to implement and there have been so many things that beat it out in terms of resources vs reward. Maybe some day it will reach the top of our list though :)

This summoner has bronze/silver/gold ELO
This summoner has over 1000/2000/3000... posts
This summoner has a favourite XXXXX(champion) guide
Ofcourse more ideas about badges are welcome. This text would be shown if you point over icon. Icons could be optional in signature or they could be shown under reputation/IGN.
Examples from that site:
And there could be badges as "This summoner has won the Mobafire XXXXX tournament".
