5 Best ADC to Climb Ranks in League of Legends Patch 13.15

After many patches of Kai’Sa dominating, she’s finally dethroned. Learn which champions are taking the top spots in this 5 Best ADC to Climb Ranks in League of Legends edition for Patch 13.15.

Heading even closer and closer to Worlds (We have the LPL representatives ready), the patch notes are going towards setting up the international tournament.

While we did get some interesting changes like the Camille buffs, and Taliyah jungle coming back to life, we are still far from shifting the status quo in the bot lane meta.

Changes to the ADC role in League of Legends Patch 13.15.

Before going over the list, let’s explain changes made to the role in this patch 13.15.

  • Nerfs to Kai’Sa, mainly towards her AP scaling in her Icathian Rain (Q), cooldown reduction on Void Seeker (W), and her Base health being reduced.
  • Buffs to Caitlyn to improve her scaling with crit-based builds.

Despite these changes not being major, this will shift the rankings in this list with the significant nerfs to Kai’Sa and her overperforming AP build.

Unfortunately, the Caitlyn changes aren’t going to make her a strong contender, but, Riot Phroxzon did hint at more buffs directed to the Sheriff in the upcoming League of Legends Patch 13.16, so maybe she’ll be part of the next list.

For more details, you can check our League of Legends Patch 13.15 Summary.

5. Xayah

Xayah 5th

With Worlds getting closer expect her to be even higher in the list

Despite not receiving any buffs whatsoever, Xayah is still one of the most stable ADCs in this patch.

Like in the previous entry, Xayah is perfect for this heavy engage meta, thanks to her pairing well with supports that have CC thanks to follow up with her roots using Bladecaller (E), making her a deadly duo. Furthermore, her get-out-of-jail-free card ultimate Featherstorm (R), allows her to get out of sticky situations which are very frequent in this meta.

Also, with Rakan being the forefront pick as the most powerful support, Xayah is having a great time in the bot lane.

Talking about her cons, she requires an upfront playstyle to take advantage of her feathers' damage, that's why she struggles against the two top spots of this list.

Xayah Build

Recommended Xayah Build

Expect her to be strong for quite a while, and get a lot of LP. To learn how to feather up your opponents, check our specialized Xayah MOBAFire guides, so you smash the bot lane with the Rebel.

4. Kai’Sa

Kai'Sa 4th

Nerfs dethroned from her 1st spot, she’s still strong

Kai’Sa has been dominating for quite a while in the ADCs ranking, so it was no surprise when she was getting nerfs.

The good thing about these nerfs is that they did not make her useless, but, these still did impact her performance overall with her base hp being lowered, and her former strong AP build not being the most optimal.

She still has her great mobility, insane scaling with Evolve, and the ability to sneak up on targets and delete them with a good Void Seeker (W) + Killer Instinct (R). The problem is getting to that point.

Kai'Sa with her base HP being lowered she's more vulnerable early, and in a engage meta with ADCs that can delete your HP bar in mere seconds, she finds herself bleeding out too much in the first stages of the game.

Kai'Sa Build

Recommended Kai'Sa Build

However, if you have already mastered the Daughter of the Void, you can still play her and do fine, keep in mind that you should prioritize her AD or Hybrid build. And if you want to learn Kai’Sa, make sure to check our recommended guides.

In case you struggle against her, you can check tips here.

3. Miss Fortune

Miss Fortune 3rd

Long-time no see, MF comes back to the list.

One pick that has come back stronger than ever in this patch is Miss Fortune. The nerf to Kai’Sa alongside a new variation of her lethality build using Duskblade of Draktharr has turned Miss Fortune into a very powerful pick across all ELOS (Especially in Lower ones).

The ratio on her Double Up (Q) plus early AD stats make her one of the best ADC in lane. Also, a well-placed Bullet Time (R) is all what it takes for the Bounty Hunter to win important fights or turn the tides in your favor.

Miss Fortune Build

Recommended Miss Fortune Build

Miss Fortune is best when paired with engage supports which allows her to pressure in the early game, especially if she gets her kills and accelerates her build. So if you play her safely in the first levels and don't give up on leads, she will snowball and 1v9 games pretty consistently.

As powerful as all of this sounds, Miss Fortune has very clear weaknesses. First, she lacks mobility in her besides her Strut (W). Second, gets out scaled by the stronger picks or even cannot win duels. And third, she relies too much on good positioning to do damage, this left her exposed to assassins like Naafiri, or heavy engage supports such as Nautilus, making it way harder to play her in higher elos where players can abuse these shortcomings.

Besides all of that, if you want to learn how to play this role, or lack the hands or time to devote to more intensive champions like the one following, Miss Fortune is the perfect champion for you.

2. Ezreal

Ezreal 2nd

Always the maiden, never the bride.

Ezreal comes back as the 2nd pick on this list yet again.

The Prodigal Explorer in this engage-heavy meta is one of the most versatile champions to play. His safety with Arcane Shift (E) along with the use of Trinity Force has made Ezreal one of the mainstay in the meta since changes to items in LoL Patch 13.10.

Despite not being put in the first spot on this list. Ezreal is found as the strongest champion for High Elo, bolstering a 56.99% Win rate in Masters+. So if you are in high elo, maybe picking up Ezreal is the way to go.

Still, most players are aware of Ezreal's main cons, and that is being good at hitting skill shots (especially your Mystic Shot) because not only they are your main source of damage, but, they are the only way to keep your Rising Spell Force passive stacks up. And well... you can still be one-shot by Naafiri.

Ezreal Build

Recommended Ezreal Build

Still, try stick to learning Ezreal by improving on his mechanics, win conditions, and combos plus learn how to play against the harder matchups like Kai’Sa, and you should be good to go.

Before continuing  the list, these are a few of the honorable mentions that are still GREAT picks but couldn’t make it to the list.

Honorable Mentions

  • Swain - One pick that's slowly rising in win rate, at least according to data of Swain as a bot carry. Although a niche pick, better be prepared if you find him soon in your games.
  • Samira/Nilah - Both of these picks when paired with engage supports are as lethal as you can go. The issue is piloting them properly.
  • Sivir - The Battle Mistress is low-key very good. With a heavy engage focus in the bot lane Sivir's Spell Shield (E) gains that much more value, and On the Hunt (R) engages are deadly in this meta. Keep in mind of this pick, she was already used in Pro Play with great success.

1. Ashe

Ashe 1st

The Frost Archer is in the 1st spot

Now Ashe is unmatched in the bot lane after the Kai’Sa nerfs

In the previous entry, Ashe was the third pick in the list, but with Kai’Sa nerfs and the Frost Archer being left untouched despite strong performance in many patches, now she takes the 1st spot in the list pretty convincingly.

Stats in Masters+

Ashe is the complete package. Great range, capacity to engage, and utility with her slows and vision, and add that to her Trinity Force build that allows her to deal tons of damage.

As of right now, there's no bot lane champion that can match Ashe in the ADC spot, she's too well-rounded. Her main struggles are against bad support matchups, and these picks.

Ashe Build

Recommended Ashe Build

Cons on Ashe

  • Ashe has no escape built in her kit, so you depend solely on your ability to position in fights.
  • Despite being labeled as an easy champion, in higher skill levels, using her passive Frostshot to the max gets difficult
  • Using well her Enchanted Crystal Arrow (R) takes time to master

If you want to climb ranks in League of Legends Patch 13.15, don't look further than Ashe. Of course, to best learn Ashe, check our recommended MOBAFire guides.

The best thing about picking up Ashe is that she's has not been looked at to balance for quite a while, even after being dominant for that long. So without Trinity Force being nerfed... expect Ashe to be a powerhouse in many patches to come.
