i tested a lil bit around with some rune/mastery setup's for jungle nocturne and i think this runepage really good :D but i want to hear some opinions from other summoner's.

my question, what do you think about this setup?

    Runes

    Precision
    Fleet Footwork

I think that the Greater Quintessence of Life Steal are not really needed based on the way I build Nocturne, but if you are building straight up damage then it might be fine. You would probably be better off of Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage.

As Meiyjhe already mentioned you would be better off replacing the Greater Glyph of Attack Speed with Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist.

In terms, of masteries I prefer going 9/21/0 for more tankiness and less damage.

Overall, it would really help us if you let us know how you would build Nocturne in a typical game to take the appropriate Runes & Masteries.

I would suggest getting one damage item (cleaver) and build tank from then on, there's not really a point in diving onto their carry if u just get CCed and die instantly.

Also scaling mr is a lot more useful late game then some extra attack speed IMO.

i playing him aggressive like a suicide carry :D i going straight in fights and kill what i can before dying :D
core: Berserker's Greaves OR Mercury's Treads, Madred's Razors, Black Cleaver & Frozen Mallet
afterwards: Blade of the Ruined King & Maw of Malmortius. in the most games i take Berserker's Greaves and one defense item like Warmog's Armor or Randuin's Omen between my afterwards. i like the LS quints ;D i want go away from the meta and takt this quints and attackspeed from the glyphs (IMO i'm well sustained in late game).

Change your quints to AD and glyphs to MR/lvl or flat MR.
    Masteries go 9/21/0

It's not about being a part of an archetype. It's about what's best for the champion.
9/21/0 isn't “going offtank" it's going the optimal setup for him.
This is because he already gets a lot of damage from his Q buff and CC from his E, and since he's melee, he needs defenses to 1) protect him during ganks, 2) Stay alive when counter-ganking, 3) sustain himself in the jungle for better ganks.
21/9/0 would work when flat autoattacking enemies, but honestly which enemy would stay there letting you attack him until he dies? Any decent player would retreat from unfavorable situations. This leaves junglers having less opportunities to successfully pull off ganks where lots of autoattacks occur.
Cost-benefit analysis for early game ~ mid game:
    21/9/0: less sustained, more damage
    9/21/0: more sustained, less damage

Now you ask yourself which is more valuable. Obviously the answer would be more sustained. Of course there are much more arguments and reasoning behind but this is just the general concept of it.

Anyways squishy nocturnes don't work just like why Yi, Fiora, Tryndamere, and Gangplank are seldom played. Way too susceptible to CC.

Of course if you're just playing around in some normals or lower elos it doesn't matter.

one question, alot of summoners playing noc with 9/21/0 and a build like LiLStormcloaK?. offtank or bruiser is a good way for noc, some dmg and enough sustain. but i think the 21/9/0 with one or two defense items does the same job on noc. noc is a really flexible jungler, he can win trades with the most mastery/runes option.

Why put in a question if you believe you already know the answer? :P

ad quints are good for farming, but i prefer ArPen or LS quints on noc. but i want go a different way to play, and the LS quint sustain me so good in mid/late game, thats my opinion.

im not a fan of this "nocturne offtank" thing. noc is a assassin for me and not a tank. the 9/21/0 is a good mastery for a offtanks or peeler :D but i prefer a aggressive assassin style.

Looks fine, I would change the attack speed glyphs to MR though.
