Seems to happen every time I jump to the next division... I play a stretch of mediocre games. It's sort of confusing. Well, as I hoped, I was able to rail off a quick 2 game win streak. I even played something besides support for one of them! I played Pantheon top vs Jax...sorta did a bad job at bullying him early and let him farm his way into scariness. Luckily, I managed to match his trades just enough to hold him off and keep my turret, allowing my jungler to camp bot and get our Ezreal fed. A couple of one-sided teamfights later, the white flag came out!

Just made it into my Silver II promotion series. I was debating sleeping or playing it out. I decided to try and play it out. The game was fairly conservative for the most part. Neither team really knew how a teamfight would turn out. Most of the game consisted of catching players out of position. Even though we were losing by a few kills, we were actually doing okay by forcing the other team to split up by constantly split pushing, so we were winning in turrets and overall map control.

I just need a space to express my horror at what happened today. I was on my way to New York City today when I found out about the bombings in Boston. I immediately called my friends in Boston, several of whom I knew were likely to watch the event in person. All of them made it out safely, thank god. Two of my friends said they were watching no more than 20 feet away from the bombs, but they decided to leave early for whatever reason and were safely out of distance when the bombs went off.

My first win in Silver II, I only got 17 LP, but since then, I've been getting upwards of 28 LP for a win. I feel so spoiled. I'll cherish it while I can because I know that if I make it into Silver I, it's gunna be 5 LP here, 3 LP there. That'll be fun.... Read More
