This is what I got, didn't get a splitter. I do have a splitter from Siberia V2 though.

Isn't that small square with two jacks sticking out of it (right under the mic) a splitter?

It's the sound card USB thingy.

I've already tried with the USB sound card thingy and without it.

The sound card USB thingy is right of the mic, Searz means the thing below the mic. It looks like a splitter but you may need some extra cord to get it in the motherboard (unless the plugs are on the right distance of each-other).
You need the reverse of the picture you showed, but yeah that's what it is.

********'s a pretty good fertilizer
I updated the firmware version, yet to try out if it works better now.
@Latest: Kingston user manual said "The Cloud II USB sound card is required to be connected to a USB port" - this worked when I only had the volume control USB thingy connected.
I also noticed that I'm missing Kingston audio 7.1 driver which is (for some reason) not downloading automatically when I plug in the headset.

Another in a long line of unclear comments from you.. What exactly are you referring to?
"Blizzard spoke thus; Thou shalt not BM. And the players replied Nay, I shall Play my hand with Lethal already on the board. And so Blizzard sent unto them this Brawl of Yogg, As a lesson for their sins of Pride and Greed, for he is the Prophet of Madness and RNG. Oh my ****ing god --.--
You're awful at this. Please stop using such incredibly vague language.
WHAT only worked with the soundcard plugged in?
Have you tried using the square with the two jacks (RIGHT BELOW THE MICROPHONE IN THE PICTURE) without the soundcard?
Because that's what I believe that thing is for; when you don't want to use the soundcard.
It doesn't have to be a cable to split the signal.

Now I got it, you mean the airplane adapter. I thought you meant USB control box. I don't have anything to plug the adapter in so I haven't tried it out.
I got an idea. You mentioned something about Siberia V2 having deeper bass sounds and it's possible to set the HyperX one to sound something like that? I think it's worth giving a shot because atm the hyperX is "too clear" you could say.

Oooh, there's a splitter included. That makes sense.
@Joxuu
Did you try plugging the headset in with the splitter, and not directly into the motherboard?
