wait what I use 1150 dpi and 90% of my friends use less
You need to be able to make small movements and still get a fast reaction when you're constrained on space, higher DPI allows for that.
@Vapora
Still looking for a new mouse? I might be able to recommend one.
Which is why large mousepads are king when it comes to increasing accuracy.
If accuracy is a primary concern in your usage then NEVER use the maximum DPI of your mouse. Those numbers are pushing the hardware to its limits, often producing very poor results. For perfect tracking you should be using 800 or 1600DPI, depending on the mouse sensor (3200 is serviceable on the best sensors).

You mentioned that you were using palm-grip, correct?
What is your hand size? (width and length from edge to edge when all fingers are held together)

Well, you should usually stick to doublings (X*2^d) of 400 (like 800, 1600 and 3200) on mice to ensure maximum compatibility with native DPI. In your case this would be 1600. The weird max DPI of your mouse does throw me off a bit tho. Yours could be using steps of 250, but it's pretty rare; I've only seen one mouse doing that (Logitech G100).
