Oddball Bot lane but they made it work pretty well. Maokai would hold a target down and Sion would wail on whatever the tree caught. Later Sion would engage and then Maokai would hold them down and if they tried to get away Maokai would put a stop to it. Ezreal was also tearing it up in Mid. There were some questionable moments, but triple Teleport has its advantages. Kled also put in work in Top lane and had some decent roam plays and engages.

Will be off comm from some time as I go explore the Netherlands for a couple of weeks.

Need to remeber the rule that I need to have lane priority when going for scuttle crabs. Also that Jax is very vulnerable when Counter Strike is down in the early game, especially vs an early game jungler like Lee Sin.

First ranked game on my main account after a trip abroad. Got to play a little bit on EUW. Had good ping (15), but my wireless was a bit flaky. Between that and not really being on my normal KB and mouse I wouldn't call it my best play but it helped keep the dust off.

This game I started Blue then counter jungled Ivern's raptors and Red buff as I had a good idea that he would be starting his blue and then heading to my Red buff. He surprised me by showing up at his Krugs. I got a few of them but then had to run off. I guess he did Blue > my Red > then ran to his Red side jungle. I ended up coming out ahead in terms of farm, so pleased with that.

Our Camille was struggling, but I really hate ganking a Pantheon that is ahead so I left her to her own devices until the rest of my team could start roaming to help deal with him. I gave her a gj for keeping it cool and helping the team despite a frustrating lane phase honor.

Fortunately Lucian, Brand, and Zed were getting work done and we teamed up well enough to cement the victory.

Learned that Ivern's Q, Rootcaller, stops Amumu's Q, Bandage Toss, which was disconcerting, having never experienced that interaction before.

Muh Bot lane. Late game we never missed standing in an Illaoi ult. Swain after a good laning phase decided he could 3 or 4 or 5 v 1 and it wasn't working out for him once they started dropping Ignite on him and apply grievous wounds with Executioner's Calling. I was told, "you have to ult Amumu". Clicks cool down timer on ult to show that it is on cool down. I am...

I could not get my team to coordinate properly for taking or contesting objectives. Zed or Jhin kept being off doing their thing when the rest of team was grouping to try and do something. Malphite often chose those opportunites to start a fight while we were without a team mate making it a 4 v 5. We gave up/lost multiple fights around the Drake because of this.

Giving Maokai jungle a whirl after several normal games to get used to clearing and fighting with him. My Bot lane struggled this game. Thresh should counter Leona but this is low Gold so that didn't happen. Lee Sin kept messing with me in my jungle. I made him pay for a couple of those attempts but it was keeping me busy so I wasn't able to help out my lanes as much as I would have liked and he balanced his messing with me well with getting his laners ahead. From chat it seemed like Xayah hadn't played in a while and it showed.

My team looked like they could use someone to murder their back line so I went with Kha'Zix since I was last pick. Bot lane were shortly at each other's throats over some misplays. Fortunately Nasus did work in Top lane after a team fight where he was the only one left standing he also took an Infernal Drake. I didn't get much done in the early game other than helping Nasus kill Renekton, a fight I barely survived. Late game I was able to get a couple of resets and chase people down to pad my score line.

Teamed up with Renekton to kill Shen, then kill Twisted Fate, and then kill Shen again when he Teleported back to his turret which was almost dead. Mid to late game, Veigar started popping off and we basically lived on their side of the map until we ended the game.

Switched around my runes a bit and it seem like I felt a bit more sustained throughout the game, but that may have partially been because Veigar wasn't asking for Blue buff.

I will be glad when they change the itemization on Randuin's Omen. Such an awkward buy at the moment.

I ended up focusing on my Bot lane who where doing well on their own, while Lee Sin focused on getting Malphite ahead. Bot picked up a double kill by themselves and then I showed up and helped them get another double kill. Then Lee ganked Top lane so I went and cleared his Raptors and Krugs then I repeat gank Bot lane for another double kill which pretty much set the tone for the rest of the match. Garen recovered from a rough early game of being camped by Lee Sin and Gangplank started rolling after some griefing about how poorly Top lane was doing. Our team was suitably careful about getting Malphite ulted for the most part so we never really got stacked up in a multi-person ult so their big threat wasn't as big of a deal as our Bot lane. I died a couple of times to what I thought were a bit of odd roam timings as Malphite was running around trying to do something with his lead. I think two of of those times I should have walked away earlier than I did, so need to work on that.

Main trick is to not interact with Teemo much in the early game. E max and get farm that way and wait for ganks or to the point where you simply outscale him and can chase him down with Wither and Stormraider's Surge through his blind. Fiddlesticks showed up and we killed Teemo and the we killed him again when he Teleported back to lane. Bot and Mid were also doing well and we didn't let up the pressure.
