Let's see what Matt has to say...
what exact error are you getting though?

Thanks to TRUeLM, Plastictree, Scrax, Xiaowiriamu, foggy12, JahGFX, jhoijhoi, msrobinson, JEFFY40HANDS, Nyoike, MissMaw, and me :) for the sigs!
I would guess the backslashes are the proxy - I\'m not doing it.
I\'m not getting an error message at all, it just hangs and never displays the page.
Forgot to mention in the original post, but I also cleared my browser cache and everything in every browser.

See my last post - I just get a \"waiting for mobafire.com\" message on the browser. No actual errors, the page just hangs forever.

For some reason I can\\\'t access Mobafire directly right now.
I can access every other site I normally visit without a problem.
- I can go in through a proxy and bring up the site (which is what I\\\'m doing now).
- My brother\\\'s computer which is on the same router can access the site
- I have changed the IP of the router twice
- I flushed the DNS data on my machine
- I have tried changing the MAC address of the router, no go
- I have tried Chrome, IE9, and Firefox (I use Firefox normally)
Nothing I\\\'ve done has been able to fix it. Any suggestions?
I am having the exact same issue, I can get to the website from 2 other PC's on my home network but not the one I normally play LoL on ... if you need more information just tell me what log files (or other information) you would like and I will try to get it to you.
Have you tried multiple browsers on the PC where you're having troubles? Have you tried accessing the site from outside of a browser, ex. tracing and pinging www.mobafire.com, using wget to retrieve the index page? That would help rule out any issues with the browser itself.
The fact that it works from other PCs on the same router means there is something going on in your computer only. We need to isolate what it is in your computer that is different and is causing the problem. Firewall or similar software, virus, web blockers, etc...

You can also try accessing it via the direct IP address instead to make sure it's not any kind of DNS issue.

Perhaps also try accessing a static file and see if that works, ex;

I'm having this exact same issue.
When I enter http://www.mobafire.com in the adress field then it doesn't enter the website.
It times out, or of I'm lucky i get to see the background image, however nothing else is shown.
I can't enter
http://50.56.52.19/
However I can enter the link

My roommate can enter the website however I can only enter the site through a proxy server.
