Copy pro's watch them play. It makes u better. end of. The point your trying to make is that people with lower skill cant last hit or position as well.

This is no different than players coming to mobafire/leaguecraft and copying a build and still playing poorly. It's the player, not necessarily the source.

I agree and disagree at the same time.

Most guides on this site have optional items and also state not to follow their guides 100% - at least the high-rated ones. I agree that it is the players own fault to some degree, but that is kinda my indirect point of the post. That players try to do stuff, they aren't capable of doing. And perhaps Booshido is right that people care too much about others, but why wouldn't you care when it affects you?

Yup, that is my point. And that's why copying the pros is a problem. You don't get the same amount of gold to make the timing of the item as viable, or perhaps you choose a summoner spell you can't use properly for the champion.. But I guess it will always be like that, I just wanted to see other people's opinion on it.

1. We do this - works really well, but then again, our Raged AD carry is in the top 50 on HoN.. would NEVER EVER do it in a solo queue.

2.yeah.. this one is just stupid, but I love it when the enemies do it xD
I mainly jungle or support (quite well, I'm told), tho, so I can copy champs once in a while :P

3. and now we're in the down-right ******ed most of the time... not even gonna comment on that further.

I actually read through this post, but considering its length, I don't think most people will read it completely. In addition, people like to find excuses as to why they are doing bad, and the prime excuse is someone's build style. I agree totally with this post on all three topics. Thumbs up.

I did read through it all. Purely because of the time i put into my discussions. It is a good discussion and well laid out. It's a nice topic.

On a side discussion to this. OP- in your oppinion, what seperates the good player to the pro?

I'm saying average players vs pros. An average player is badder at farming, badder at timing summoner spells and their q-w-e-r abilities, badder positioning, badder organization, less warding etc..
There's a reason why pros are pros and average players are average.

But thanks for the feedback on the discussion mate :)

As soon as I started playing Ranked, normals meant nothing. They were games that I could do anything and build anything and it wouldn't matter.

It's surprising how much harder I tried before lvl 30 compared to nowadays.

Maybe you're just seeing lots of players playing without caring.

2&3) Only a problem if the player himself is bad.

Riot Staff: Hey guys, lets make a really cool particle for Soraka's Auto Attack, and then make the animation SUPER SLOW!
Riot Interns: That sounds amazing! Please don't fire us D:!

Also, on the "what seperates a pro and a regular player" It's a combination of things.

A Pro has better reflexive decision making, better mechanical skill (Alistar Combo etc.), is much more flexible in terms of their builds, is more likely to prioritize map control over kills, and knows not to chase after Mundo when there's a tower at 500hp right next to you.
Tri lane for life.
