Just wait. Elos will reset and everyone will go back to the same elo they were at for s1. That will prove there is no elo hell(if saintvicious isn't enough proof..)

Thanks to Xiaowiriamu for the sig!

Why would saintvicious be proof of ELO hell?

At 400-500 ELO EVERYONE is bad, not just your team.

When the ratings reset ELO hell will be more noticeable, since you could get 500 ELOs on your team and 2400s on the other team. It will balance out over time.

EDIT: I'm assuming you're talking about the S2 reset.

I make sigs, PM me if you want one :D (Thanks for the Nidalee sig, The_Nameless_Bard!)

#1:

IT WASN'T A RANKED MATCH!

Things like this doesn't happen in rankeds anymore with me.

#2: Cmon, Ashe got their blue buff, why Annie couldn't get ours?
#3: Yeah, maybe I'll begin to win, but dunno when.
#4: If no one asked for the buff, there's no priority.

#4 - There's most certainly priority. Plenty of late game champions need the blue, and through the early mid your AP carry is the prime target for the blue. Granted, Annie shouldn't ragequitfeedlol, but she's right, why the hell DID ashe get the blue?

As for this elo hell talk -

Elo hell most certainly doesn't exist in my mind. It might take you longer to get out of some brackets because of bad luck, but eventually you'll equalize, and that's where you deserve to be. I can't tell you how many sub 1100 players I've played with that cry about how they're stuck in elo hell, when I see them make mistakes that tell me they deserve to be where they are.

I started ranked when I was a scrub, and pushed myself sub 1200 before I went back and played a lot of normals. Learned a whole lot about the game, and season 2 got announced. Sitting at like 1100 off of wasting all my +40 elo matches on my scrubby old self, I decided I'd play ranked again. Didn't matter if I won or lost, the reset was coming soon. I got a string of disconnects (my fault again, I decided to try it on a week where the servers went insane), lost another like 200, and decided instead to see just how low I could get. I got around 900 before I couldn't even lose a game anymore. Hell, I even trolled low elo with the infamous "jet" around here.

Recently, I decided to see about breaking out of so called "elo hell" and after like 40 ranked wins in a row (I'm serious), I'm back at the mid 1200 range. And yeah, it's harder to get consistent wins in that 1200 range because of constantly getting people who have maybe 1 win in ranked and clearly haven't been playing long enough, but I have more of a net gain then I do loss in elo right now. It'll just take longer to get out of that bracket, as I said. I wouldn't call it elo "hell" where all you get is bad teams. No, generally you just get a team without any kind of cooperation or direction, and you have to be the leader, calling out buffs, dragon and baron spawns, telling your support to grab oracles or more wards, etc.

U guys gave me such a great idea. I just won a ranked match.

The buff thing:

Man, Ashe went to their side of the map and got the blue buff. Annie was almost leaving the base. Couldnt she get our buff instead of ragequitfeedlol?

And priority to get a buff? WTF, they are there to be got and if no one asked, it doesnt matter who get. Of coure if you have to choose Trynda or Ryze to get blue, Ryze need it more than Trynda.

There is such a thing as ELO Hell. Regardless of what anyone says. ELO Hell is comprised of a mixture of things. Regardless of Saint doing his thing. It's not impossible to carry a team of decently competent people even 3 competent people a pro and an Rtard can win. But when the level of competency drops below Amoeba status you're in trouble. IDC what anyone says it's a team game and regardless of how well one person is doing that one person still has to compete against an opposing side of 5 people working together. It's so easy for people to sabotage a game because you rely on a team. I'd think intentional feeding, afkrs, trolls etc are more common at the lower ELOs which is another added issue. ELO Hell is real and it can happen in any level of gameplay. It's just more common the lower you go.

ELO hell is a mentality caused by people thinking they're better than they actually are. Nobody wants to admit they aren't a 1600 elo player, nobody even wants to admit they're not a 1400 elo player. And the defenses to "prove me wrong" are always something like, "I've played with 1600-1700 elo and I do fine." That's cool, guess what, you were probably getting carried.

The argument of whether it exists or not: Fine, it exists, but only in the minds of delusional players. You just said when the level of competency drops below amoeba status you can't carry, despite saint doing well at low elo. You're saying you've dealt with these people, and saint, who was at -1 elo, hasn't? Everyone's out to troll you down, amirite?

Yes, regardless of how well one person has done within the match, they can lose the game. But you know what? They probably weren't doing everything they could have if they lost. It IS a team game, nobody denies that, but what gets you out of "elo hell" is going after objectives, taking out towers, controlling buffs, controlling dragon and baron and just controlling the map in general, not kills. I can get 15/0 and push 2 towers down in my lane. But If I'm not helping my team control the rest of the map, I have less of a chance to win than if I did and went 5/4. Sure, my build probably won't be doing as much damage as if I was 15/0, but if we controlled blue and red buffs, got all the dragons and got picks by catching them out of position with good warding, it won't matter that my build didn't get completed, the rest of the team will be far ahead in gold with me, and our teamfight is stronger. ESPECIALLY if we went into it with the buffs on us.

Wow, nice text.

Well, this ELO thing is pretty idiot in my opinion. It doesn't give you points depending how well you did, but if you won or lost. I saw some posts before describling this idea.

If you get a tanker, you should get points for having few deaths and many assists. Maybe by getting x armor and MR.

Thats the idea.
