I have finally laid out a semi viable Hybrid Gangplank Build:

Sorcerer's Shoes Trinity Force Guinsoo's Rageblade ( Black Cleaver or Malady, I can't decide, but I'm leaning towards cleaver) Hextech Gunblade Void Staff

Runes are a bit of a tossup. But, seeing as the point of this build was to make his ult hurt as much as possible...

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration Greater Seal of Armor Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power Greater Quintessence of Scaling Ability Power

Or standard dps runes, whichever way you want to lean.

greater mark of desolation Greater Seal of Armor Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist greater quintessence of desolation

Possible masteries are 10-0-20, 21-0-9

Your cannonballs are gonna hurt a lot friggin more, I can tell you that.

Stats:

The build order is incorrect, don't hassle me on that...

I once met a barrage Gangplank.... he got stomped. But I've had the idea swirling around in my head for months now, and this was the closest I could come to a semi viable Gangplank build that pimps his Ult.

Lemme know what you think guys. Is this viable, or have I just fallen off the wagon? I like it, and I think I'm going to spend more time cooking up odd builds >:)

I don't care about my rep, but you can +rep if you want to.

ditch the rageblade, rush the triforce, then gunblade and it looks viable

Yes, the item order is out of whack. I like the Rageblade. It means he can hold his own even 1v1. What would I ditch it for, per se?

I tried to make this so that it wasn't lacking in damage, either. You know.... hybrid.

His heal and Ulti are based on AP, but his ulti's ratio blows more than a french *****. His heal is alright though.

I'd still go ArP marks
HP or AP per level seals
CDR Glyphs.

He only has 2 things benefiting from AP and only one of those 2 is an offensive ability. So no need for Mpen really.

I'm no GP-dude, so I'm not going to discuss the build, other than it looks cool .. but ^this quote is true. You only get 2,7 more AP frmo quints, and that's at lvl 18! So. Go for flat AP quints :D

yeah i agree with searz. it might be fun to play with a hybrid gp but gp only really works with a super crit build.

This doesn't look really good, so much on-hit stuff :/
And why the cleaver? LW would be a much better choice on GP.

El Psy Congroo.

Ditch the gunblade he doesn't do any conciderable amount of magic damage to warrent the spell vamp.

I do my AP GP build, I'll tell you the items and you can change it around to work into hybrid.

Amp Tomb > Sheen > Sorc Shoes > Lich > Deathcap > Banshee's > Pen Rod > Whatever I need

You can PROBABLY do this for your hybrid.

Amp Tomb > Sheen > Boots of your choice > Infinity Edge > Lichbane > Zeal (Or needlesly) > Deathcap > Phantom dancer and whatever for 6th item.

You get a nice heal, good lichbane damage for the proc on parley, and you can possibly crit on that same parley. Idk you may wanna give it a shot.

I just know that the gunblade is useless.
Currently looking for a team, I'm an amazing skill-shotter and prefer tanky roles (Garen, Renek, Amumu) or straight up AP DPS (Nidalee, Veigar, etc) :3 Although I'm a great Sona too.
