i agree, more attack speed would be bad since i would have to sacrifice to much for it. but u have on ur guide ( great guide btw when i play tank cho i play almost just as ur build) that ap cho is a viable build. u just change role from tank to nuker. then i don't understand why i would not need more damage. i do however understand that since my build requires me to be up at them to do damage i need more survivability as u and the others said so i have mad some changes and would like ur opinion.

Yup, he's done Wit's End cho since the change over to MR at least.

DPS Cho'gath isn't too practical, but yea, he works. Building 2 sets of stuff, on hit effects etc is good. Atma/Mallet is good, as well as Guinsoo (Not really good late), Nashor's tooth (Not cost efficient) and some attack speed + damage/ap items.

A DPS cho is viable if built correctly. I main a jungling Cho and take full advantage of his Vorpal spikes.
Build:

Sell Wits, buy Madreds

When i do this, i just start the game off by rushing 6 daggers. Since daggers are the most cost efficient source of AS in the game. If your team hasn't all quit at that moment then you can proceed to turn one into boots, one into a black cleaver, and the rest into 2 phantom dancers.
