Personally enjoy the incredibly large maps. Keeps the Call of Duty kiddies away.

I love this game.
But I think Call of Duty's Singleplayer will be better. But who cares? Multiplayer ftw!
Thanks to Keondre!

The beta didnt resemble the full game, it was just a item to test servers. PC beta was awesome, PS3 beta less.
Thanks to Plickz and Alexanpt for the awesome Sigs!

Still can't get over the "join through your internet browser" thing ( You have to start up BF every time you switch servers), what was wrong with the in-game server browser?

The beta was an unpolished version of the game. An older version of the multiplayer. The bugs were numerous (Jesus Pose with Defibs, falling under the map, weapon clipping, loss of reload animation, artifacts etc.)

Overall the beta was pleasing though; I was a little remiss at the lack of destructable things. The walls in the 2nd and third phase of the map and the buildings on forth phase of the map were about it. However, the fact that I could use an RPG to drop debris on people was very gratifying.

Lack of controller vibration as I was being shot at (and hit) made it very difficult to actually tell I was being shot.

Some of the unlocks weren't useable (for good reason...JDAM spam from snipers on phase one would have made it impossible to cap) Some of the unlocks didn't work: Straigh-Pull Back Bolt for sniper rifles, for those who didn't bother with sniper rifles, the pull back bolt was meant to take the place of the bipod and allow a sniper to fire and recharge a shot without zooming out. As well placement of items like the Radio Link (Mobile Spawn Point) or the UaV were very unstable. Most surfaces wound't let you place them unless they appeared to be perfectly flat.

The imbalance and inconsistency of the weaponry...I understand they want to achieve realism but I don't think I should be able to use an LMG with an Acog scope and fire further with the same accuracy and no bullet drop that I would have with a sniper rifle.

I was dissappointed that they chose to use a map without a vehicle on it. Their main focus has been beefing up their franchise by bringing back the epic air (Jet vs Jet) combat that the PC versions of Battlefield have had for awhile now. And the beta did not give us a taste of that. I'm still rather upset that squads are only devised into 4man teams....I have plenty of friends who will own Battlefield but without being able to bring more than 3 of them into a game I can't enjoy the large scale feel of it. Now that doesn't mean the end game won't allow for that. As well EA's servers as they seem to do...BLOW!!!!!! Supposedly that has changed, the beta didn't give evidence to that.

All in all I took it for what it was, a beta. I was impressed with the depth that the beta had, and the number of unlocks that were supported by each weapon and the number of weapons available. I was happy to FINALLY be able to go prone, and the most satisfying games were after I unlocked the M98 (The spiritual successor to Bad Company's M97 .50 Cal sniper rifle.)Sitting back on defense and pulling the trigger on a sprinting opponent just leaving their spawn made me shake with excitement. Overall I considered the beta to be a great teaser for things to come. Most of the things that were "bad" are something I can see them having fixed in the final addition of the game. For a beta imo it outdoes many full fledged games.

I'll for sure be buying this, and I'll also buy Call of Duty.

For the haters: They're two similar games but to me both have qualities the other does not.

EDIT: Sadly the biggest issue that will still hold true in BF3 as it did in the beta....****ING MORONS ON THE SAME TEAM WHO NEVER TURN OFF THEIR ****ING FLASH LIGHT....I probably died more from teammates walking towards me with their tac light on as I line up a shot than dying from an enemy using one....
