PENTAKILL!!!!!!1
I got one.
I think Wukong and Shyvana, particularly the latter for her potentional to initiate and bring your enemies together, also synergize well with you.
Miss Fortune, Morgana, and Sona are also good for more AoE silliness.
Mejai's Soulstealer is not a viable item at all levels of play, especially not on Kennen, who has to run his face into the enemy team in order to use his abilities properly.
Wrong. It's neither viable nor not viable. Also, I take many steps to ensure that the consequences for using Mejais minimal.
Running his face into the enemy team, yes, is what Kennen should be doing, but if you are instantly dying from doing it then it probably means you're initiating. Kennen is a good initiator, but if you go in after the initial burst or CC comes out, then I can guarantee you WILL have time to use Zhonya. If you are worried about dying and losing stacks, get a Guardian Angel. If you don't like it, I'm still experimenting with abolishing it from my build altogether, and instead getting a Hextech Revolver in its place, but for now I feel Mejai's is a great choice.
Why am I getting Mejai? Because I believe the core items of Kennen should be Boots, Zhonya, and Rabadon. This, combined with other items, give maximum damage output early game while having survivability in early team fights. Yet the problem was that rushing a Zhonya left me with too little AP to actually get kills, while with Mejais I could snowball into 20 stacks quickly because of the numerous assists and kills I obtain from ganking.
And please start boots3 if you're going mid. I've seen enough Kennens taking shield against an AP and suffering for it.
boots3 makes me too squishy, and for champions with 'lock-on' spells like Annie or Ryze, it won't do any good. Most of early game damage comes from auto-attacks. A shield gives me tankiness and sustain in the form of health regen. I have been convinced by this one guide here that the constant source of regen is more beneficial than having 3 short bursts of regen at once. However, if I am against cassiopiea or Brand, I always start boots because they are skillshot heavy.
EDIT: And remove all of those terrible summoner spells like Clairvoyance, Garrison, Revive, Promote and Surge from the viable alternative list....
Ok. I dunno what the hell I was doing with some of those, but they all have their uses at certain points of the game.

Or mostly I'm using it because I have a tendency to AA after I land my Q. Gives you extra poke and burst~
Have you ever tried using Void Staff?
As a situational last item, yes. Maybe I forgot to put it up?
@CasterMaster Thanks ^^
@ThaKinetic Remember that build 1 isn't a guarantee and it mostly depends on your skill~
