Mordekaiser

Counter Picks: Lulu(teamfights), Morgana(teamfights)

Pretty much anyone who can prevent me from having a succesful ultimate is a "counter" in my book, Mordekaiser shouldn't lose lane though.

I said at the moment!

But anyway - I've not jungled in a good while (I've been whoring DotA, in all honesty, it's a refreshing change from LoL), nor do I really have a "main" in the jungle. Usually I like to mix my junglers up, but for AD I only ever really play Vayne, MF and occasionally Kog.

Furthermore, counter picks in the jungle are usually pretty easy to figure out. Farm < Counter Jungle < Gank < Farm. It's basic jungling triad stuff that you can figure out with general logic (which, now I think of it, I should really put into my guide). I'd only ever have to go in depth for ones who you'd counter by duelling, and knowing who wins duels with who is not playstyle.

If I did have a main jungler right now it would probably be either Noc, Lee, Olaf, or Shyvana. Maybe even Trundle, he's a blast. But then I'm just listing favourites, not a main.

I have a couple small disagreements so far, but overall this thread is amazing. Here's my end

Twitch

LANE COUNTERS: Cait, Graves, Yorick
OVERALL PAIN IN THE ***: Akali, Lee Sin

Cait has absurd aa range and graves burst is crazy too. Yorick is just waaaaay too bulky for any twitch to handle, even late game it can be tough if he's good. Akali just bursts Twitch super hard, he's an even easier kill than a lot of other squishes. Sin is a pain for obvious reasons.

IN LANE: Dont just buy an oracle and call it done. If he gets a gank and you lose it you're in trouble. Don't just buy a pink ward and plop it down or either him or the support will sweep it. Make sure he doesnt have sight when you put it down, and dont be a ****ing idiot and auto attack him once and alert him it's there. Since he doesn't know you can see him let him get far enough out of position to where you can land the kill on him.

LATE GAME: If at least 3 people don't have an oracle you're still at risk of being swept up in a Twitch ult durring the team fight. Make sure you know his whereabouts and make sure your assassin knows their job.

Seems fun :P

Kennen

Counter Mechanics: Very high close range damage, burst, ranged hard CC, anti-initiate, hard permaslows.

Kennen has to run up into your face in teamfights to get the maximum potential off his ult, so if you have high melee DPSers like Tryndamere or Olaf, it makes it much more dangerous for him.

Burst can easily drop him at a distance.

Ranged hard CC means he won't be in range to use his ult, and he won't gain bonus resists from E.

Anti-initiate like Janna or Alistar can easily disposition his ult.

Permaslows again will deny his initiation to some degree.

CC like stuns or silences wont have a big effect on him after he uses his ult, because after its activated its not going to stop until the end of the duration or if he dies, which is unlikely because he'll usually have a Zhonyas or GA.

Counterpicks: Lee Sin, Janna, Alistar, LeBlanc, Ryze, Olaf, Lux and Morgana if the Kennen is stupid and runs into your Qs.

Beating him in lane: I actually have no idea :D His early game damage is a mix of both auto-attacks and spells, and both have really high range. Don't say 'dodge his Q' because he'll just E up to you and FORCE a clear shot, or use 'W's passive + his high AA range and still do good damage.

Sustain doesn't necessarily beat him either, not a lot of champions have 'free' sustain like Lee Sin to heal up all his harass.

Your best bet would probably have a gap closer + very strong dueling skillset. Again, like Lee Sin.

In teamfights: straight from Ego Ignaxio's guide, Exhaust, and Mercury's Treads will remove most of his presence.

Vladimir.

Counters: Range. High early game damage. Silences. Grievous wounds. Not standing clumped together.

Mages that counter him:

Cassiopeia: Out ranges him, poison sticks even if he pools, she has a stun, huge damages

Ryze: Early game ryze will rape vlad damage wise.

Malzahar: Out pushes vlad, ultimate forces him to rush QSS instead of damage, has a silence, has a move that works on %HP and vlad has high HP.

Fiddlesticks: Silence and much better sustain. #1 drawback terrible farmer, really needs to abuse his advantage or it will be pointless

Top Laners that can easily beat him:

Riven: She will win every early trade and snowball off of it.

Talon: Blink silence coupled with huge damage.

Rumble: Just has more damage than vlad can stand early on

Lee Sin: Out-sustains him. Hits harder by buying defense. (hexdrinker)

Corki: Very high burst on this guy, vlad simply can't handle it and will be bullied out of lane. post level 9 it's a different story, but getting there is quite a problem.

Dam you Tehasian, I wanted to write taht lol.

Since you mentioned almost everything, might mention a bit on laning agaisnt Kennen. The hardest to lane against in my opinion is Leblank. This is because she can jump in and she can jump out of your ultimate as she wills. She has a silence and snare, so she pretty dam hard. Lux has a bit of advantage with Kennen cause of the range. Glaio is plain right annoying, you can't kill the dude.

Mah, I have to admit that Udyr is not that much of a problem once you get used to the matchup. New Riven players will probably lose that matchup because they try to outduel a tiger udyr with ad runes and offensive masteries very early. I just try to stay defensive early, shield his tiger procs and wait for him to go oom, then go for him. Or wait for lvl 6 because Riven is alot stronger then.

Then i hit him with an E, and he crys back under his tower where he belongs.

Mordekaiser doesn't lose to people unless they have low cooldowns, and burst damage.

Anivia who lands EVERYTHING EVERYTIME will beat morde.

Push to tower, ignore.

She can't actually do anything to you unless you are in a gank.

And Cassio telegraphs ganks really really really hard.

One does not simply push a Cassiopeia to Mordor her tower. She's a common counterpick in high Elo (see also - TSM vs M5, second match at M5's first tournament which I forgot the name of - Regi counterpicked AlexIch's Morde with a Cass, and he was useless for most of the game and pushed to his tower for the majority of the laning phase), and one of the few champions that can outpush a Morde, harass him, and take chunks from his health all at the same time.

She can easily outpush and chunk Morde's health at the same time, since she's like a ranged version of him with more harass.
