Terrible laning phase, not that tanky, doesn't provide a lot of damage. The only thing thats really good about Wukong is his ultimate Cyclone; other than that, he's outshined in every other aspect

I really need to get a new favorite top champ :(

^ If you're worried about reaching high elo while maining Wukong, lemme just pull out the profile of a fellow Mobafire user: http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/21470031

It's possible :P

Play Zac if you want a similar level of disruption from an ultimate. He's also a sustained laner, and is tanky as hell with good base damages. ;p Wayne will agree with me here.

You would be suprised by how many people get juked with S or use spells on the decoy... Wukong has a mediocre laning phase due to his lack of sustain and mana useage, however due to his ult he will outscale many people into the lategame. In terms of tankyness if your team needs a tank just build a cleaver then build full tank this will allow you to engage chunk enemies and shred them for your ADC to finish them off. I'm willing to FP Wukong in high plat against diamond players and I can play put most matchups fine (Ren and lee only matchups that are annoying). Most people also don't roam with Wukong which he is really strong at with his stealth. I can't really explain everything about Wukong in one post lol, but if you worried about maiming him for ranked I assure you that you can reach any Elo if you are good enough with him. If you have fun with him go with it.

Isn't it pretty much the same as Wukong ?
Somewhat bad laning phase, good teamfight potential.
Difference is that Zac players often go tankier.

Like it's not much better either.

^ Except for the fact that Zac has sustain and won't have mana issues ever.

He loses trades with a lot of characters, but that's irrelevant with the most broken sustain passive in the game.

Zac
-Sustained
-Tankier
-More CC
-Long range engage
-Magical damage
-no mana

Wukong
-nonsustained
-Mana
-Has jukes
-Stealth
-Targeted gapcloser
-Steroids
-Armor shred debuff
-more damage
-Ult reliant

Wukong does more while he has his ult up, Zac will do more with no ults. ZAC has a safer engage and is Tankier. Wukong can pretty much guarentee a kill with a good ult in a teamfight. Wu also makes his ADC really strong with cleaver+Q shred on enemies which allows them to cleanup teamfights and get fed. I played Zac top for a little while when he came out, I personally prefer Wu top but they are both good despite performing similar roles.

The recent change actually hit it quite hard and I've played a lot less Zac ever since.

But let's focus on Wukong in this thread, shall we :3
