I will forever hate that she is called the Harley Quinn of League of Legends when she is far closer to the JOKER.
I mean when I argue this with people I am the one that provides proof that she is more the Joker with stuff like she joins the carnage because she thinks its fun, she has an arch nemesis that is giving strength by their gadgets, she is continously smiling and laughing etc.
What is the best (and only) argument for her being Harley Quinn? She's a girl...thats it so far, she has to be Harley Quinn because she is a girl too

Jinx does have that look like she is the character the happily married man meets and somehow they end up in bed together although the guy can't quite figure out how this has happened

Today, we place a spotlight on Jinx, the Loose Cannon, in celebration of her one year anniversary. Get Excited!
Release
Her name is Jinx. That's what they call her, anyway. No one knows who she is, or where she came from. This scrawny pain in the neck shows up one day, firing heavy guns in the air. And laughing – always with the laugh. I can't stand her.
Everything changed the day she arrived in town. They might as well call it the City of Crime. Panic among the people. Chaos in the streets. Mayhem everywhere you look.
The worst part is: none of it makes any sense. Ask her why she's doing it, and she'll give you a million different reasons. But the only one that matters is:
She's having fun.
Piltover is just a plaything to her. She's enjoying the time of her life, and she doesn't care who gets hurt.
Well, I'm here to shut down the party.
It doesn't matter what she wants. I don't care what her sob story is. I'm gonna put her away for a long, long time. And right before I do, I promise you: I'm gonna wipe that stupid grin off her face.
Permanently."
- Vi
Leading up to her release, Riot found a number of ways to showcase her chaotic personality and put emphasis on her rivalry with Caitlyn and Vi. Not only does this rivalry play a big part in the champion preview and Jinx' lore, but Jinx also vandalized Vi's champion page on the League of Legends website (as well as various other pages on the site), leaving her mark for all to see.
Combined with the fact that Jinx also received her own music video, it was no surprise that there was a huge hype surrounding her as she first set foot on the Fields of Justice.
Playstyle & Itemization
Another important aspect of Jinx' kit is her passive, Get Excited! (no, this time I'm not using it as a pun). The movement speed granted by this ability can allow Jinx to escape from sticky situations easily or catch up with fleeing enemies. With the high damage from Zap! and Super Mega Death Rocket!, it is not uncommon for Jinx to gain this speed boost and snowball a fight by picking up several kills in a row.
One of the biggest challenges for a Jinx player is to deal with her lack of mobility (when she's not excited): incorrect use of the slow from Zap! or the snare from Flame Chompers! can prove to be extremely punishing.
Although originally being a champion that favored a rush of Bloodthirster, Jinx has adapted fairly well to the AD Carry itemization changes which were introduced in patch 4.10, as the fact that the long range AoE damage from Fishbones can crit allows her to bully her opponents with the rush of an Infinity Edge. The item path that she has most commonly followed in competitive play is therefore quite standard. Two other (less common) items which have seen play on her during the World Championships are Hexdrinker and Youmuu's Ghostblade (both used by KaBuM's Minerva).
Popularity: Solo Queue & Competitive Play
Though Riot quickly realised that she was too powerful on release and both abilities received nerfs shortly after, Jinx has remained a popular AD Carry with a fairly consistent >50% win rate in ranked games across all servers ever since.
1. SKT T1 Jinx (NA): 1207
2. danfx66 (NA): 1043
3. Topdaytrader (NA): 1008
Although her popularity in NA didn't change much during the Summer Split, she was still only ranked 6th as an AD Carry, behind Lucian (54), Kog'Maw (36), Corki (34), Tristana (33) & Twitch (27). Her win rate also went down significantly. In EU, her pick rate plummeted completely as she was only called into action 4 times, placing her far behind the most popular AD Carry ( Lucian, 74) and only one appearance ahead of Ashe.
During the currently ongoing World Championships, Jinx has continued to struggle to impress, with only 7 appearances during the group stage and a poor win/loss record. Luckily, this does not seem to worry her.
