I have peaked at rank 90 Thresh in season 8 and stayed around diamond 2 throughout season 10. In season 7 I decided to show myself to bigger audience. 1) Q -> E (Basic Trades)
2) Q -> W -> E (All in)
3) Q -> R -> E -> IGNITE (Peak damage combo)
4)Q1 -> FLASH -> W -> Q2 -> E -> R (Bunny Hop)
5) R -> E -> Q (Melee range combo)

1. Get to know hitboxes OR play without smart cast.
2. Be patient, if you'r ADC doesn't want to play agressive - don't force.
3. Buy yellow trinket, walk quickly to enemy jungle/river(be careful tho!), leave it there then recall for sweeper. It'll help you get preassure in lane.
4. Make use of bushes
5. Aim either for target with lower health or (if they're even in HP) a damage dealer.
6. Place deep wards in jungle, preferably on jungle camps.
7. Try your best to keep the wave in slow push. Don;t engage under their tower or your own tower. You want to engage only if you have more minions on your side.
8. If you have a bad ADC - buy boots and roam. Make sure you don't fall too behind in EXP. Come back to lane from time to time, especially if it's a cannon wave.
9. Don't die with your adc if you don't have to.
10. Make sure to always proc your Aftershock as soon as possible, whether you engage or get caught. It might save you from dying.
