About me

Hello :) my name is Liam, i am a current Platinum jungle main. I have been playing since the start of season 2 but only in the last year taken to playing ranked play. My favourite types of champion are assassin/fighter's ( Rengar, Shaco, Rek'Sai ect.) as well as unconventional junglers ( Twisted Fate, Cho'Gath, Fiora). I managed to get from bronze 4 after my provisional games to gold 3 in just a few weeks and after a bad spell (not feeling up to league/bored of league) i decided to stop playing for a while. However the new updates to summoners rift and all the new champions coming out have drawn me back in and I'm having so much fun. I've decided to make some guides to champions that i have lots of experience with and hope to share my knowledge with the community of mobafire. Sorry for the TLDR but i hope you enjoy my guide, a rating would also be greatly appreciated and I'm open to any suggestions/criticisms that you guys have! see you on the rift!

An introduction to jungle Fiora

Fiora is a really skillful fighter with great 1v1 and teamfight potential, her rework has introduced many new features that have made her a strong overall team player with the introduction of CC to her kit as well as her ultimate rework which has the potential to have an aoe Janna-esque shield. She has really high base damages with the included true damage bonuses in her passive.

The following chapters will cover the basics as well as an in depth look at Fiora in the jungle.

Abilities Overview

Duelist's Dance is Fiora's passive, when near an enemy champion it reveals "vitals" around said champion after 0.5s (lasts for 15 seconds). When Fiora basic attacks the "vital" it will deal 3% of the targets maximum health as true damage, it will heal Fiora for 20, and grant her 20% bonus movement speed that decays over 1.75s. After the vital is triggered or times out, Fiora will identify a new vital on the target.
(Fiora's passive when on an enemy champion)

Lunge is Fiora's Q. ACTIVE: Fiora dashes a short distance in the target direction, then stabs a nearby enemy if one is present while moving into attack range of them.
The stab deals physical damage(65 / 75 / 85 / 95 / 105 (+ 55 / 70 / 85 / 100 / 115% Bonus AD), applies on-hit effects, and prioritizes exposed Vitals, followed by enemy units who would die to the strike and finally the nearest target, prioritizing champions. If Lunge hits an enemy its cooldown is reduced to 60%.

Riposte is Fiora's
W. ACTIVE: Fiora poises to strike in the target direction and then enters a defensive stance, parrying all incoming damage and hostile crowd control for the next 0.75 seconds.
After the duration, Fiora stabs her sword forward, dealing magic damage to all enemies in a line. The first enemy champion struck also has their movement and attack speed slowed by 50% for 1.5 seconds. If Fiora parries at least one immobilizing effect, Riposte stuns the target for the same duration instead.

Bladework is Fiora's E.

ACTIVE: Fiora gains 50% bonus attack speed on her next two basic attacks. The first attack cannot critically strike but slows its target for 1 second(25 / 35 / 45 / 55 / 65%), while the second attack critically strikes for modified damage. (140 / 155 / 170 / 185 / 200%)
Bladework resets Fiora's autoattack timer.

Grand Challenge is Fiora's R.

PASSIVE: Duelist's Dance's bonus movement speed is increased.

ACTIVE: Fiora targets an enemy champion, highlighting all four of their Vitals for the next 8 seconds. While Grand Challenge is in effect, Duelist's Dance does not identify new Vitals on its target.
If Fiora is able to attack all four Vitals, or if she attacks at least one before her target dies, she creates a victory zone that heals her and allied champions within over the next 5 seconds. While near her target or within the healing zone, Fiora benefits from Duelist's Dance's bonus movement speed.

Skill Sequence

Ability Sequence

As jungle Fiora i start with a point in Bladework as it gives you a bonus 50% attack speed for two basic attacks (the second attack is guaranteed to crit) which means tons of burst for the first camp.

I then put a point into Lunge as it deals bonus AD and will have a 60% reset when you hit the jungle camp meaning you can spam it sooner.

Lastly i put a point into Riposte this is good for dodging a few attacks from the jungle camps.

In regards to maxing abilities I max Lunge First as by the time it is maxed i will have good AD items and it will scale better than maxing Bladework first, and the cooldown is reduced when it is maxed.

i max my Bladework second as i feel that the slow increase as well as bonus crit damage gives you insane burst and gank potential.

I max Grand Challenge third as it is Fiora's ultimate and is great for teamfights.

Lastly i max Riposte as i feel it isnt as beneficial to max it in any other order as the only benefit it gets rank is bonus magic damage.

Runes

I have tried many different rune combinations and this one has worked best for me.

9x Flat AD reds give you great starting AD.

9x scaling HP yellows give you a nice health pool to work with.

3x flat mr blues will help with early/mid game dueling and will scale well with defensive items

6x cdr blues help with your early game spamming and also scale well with the items in this build

3x Lifesteal quints help with sustain in the jungle and scale well with ravenous hydra

OPTIONAL

Runes

Resolve
Grasp of the Undying
Fleet Footwork
Dark Harvest
Phase Rush

I have also been testing out this rune page, it seems to work just as well as the other but it scales a little bit better into the late game if you go for a tankier build.

Farming

Below is a video on how to farm (Both without and with a leash)

As a quick note you should always start on the krugs as starting gromp will bring you to really low HP and you wont get the passive stun bonus like you do from smiting the krugs.

Ganking

Fiora's new Q ( Lunge) means that you can jump into lanes which means that you dont just walk into lane like you used to. Her new kit means that she actually has CC which is great for her ganking potential. It is best to approach the lane you are ganking from the river, engage on the enemy champion with your Lunge > Bladework combo which will slow + deal tons of damage, if the enemy you are ganking has CC and tries to use it on you, you can parry it with Riposte to stun them (Or at least slow them if they dont CC you).

Objectives

When your team has decided to make a dragon call you can dodge the initial knockback from the dragon with your Riposte this allows you to get a few extra hits on to the dragon early. Fiora's main problem when it comes to doing the dragon is that if she tanks it for too long she will get really low and be susceptible to a steal (Because she is quite squishy in the early game). It's best, when making a dragon call, to get someone else to juggle the aggro with you and use Riposte whenever you can to dodge some of the dragon's damage.

By the time baron spawns you will most likely be tanky/have plenty of damage and thus be able to group up and get baron (assuming you score an ace/ the enemy team have no vision on baron), Fiora can dodge baron's damaging spells so you should have no real problems when doing it.
