Hello everyone. I'm Jesus4RealM8 and I'm currently unranked and started playing a little while ago, so I'm fairly new to this game (I suck). Yet i still want to share this guide with you. Maybe you just need some new ideas for builds for Poppy. Then you might just have arrived at the right place my friend. This is not an in-dept guide, but a rather simple one. A lot of you guys, including myself, don't want to read a lot, just see and learn, so that is my aim for this guide.
I haven't played the cute little Poppy that much, but I started playing her for real a couple of days ago and found her quite appealing. I'm not good at Poppy, but neither am i bad. If I do say so myself, my friends might tell you otherwise :3. Enough of that, i hope u get that i just want to inspire you with new build ideas and maybe give you a few tips and tricks. Maybe you are new to Poppy and just want to read a couple of guides before you play her and then stumbled across this one, then this guide might be the one for you too. Enjoy, ladies and gentlemen.
Pros / Cons

- Tanky, yet she has damage.
- Her HEROIC CHARGE and HAMMER SHOCK combo is amazing when done right.
- Her STEADFAST PRESENCE is the biggest nope against dashes.
- Her KEEPER'S VERDICT is crazy.
- Her KEEPER'S VERDICT takes some time to learn and use effectively.
- Her IRON AMBASSADOR can be stepped on by enemy champions causing them to disappear.
- She has unreliable sustain.
Alright team, let's get to it. For runes you want to get some attack damage-, armor-, health- and magic resist runes. For the offensive tank thingy.
I dunno, these just work for me. Try them out and report them if they suck (Pls don't report me tho, I'm but a poor danish lad with a good pc and potatoes). :3
She smashes her hammer to the ground and damages enemies inside the target location, goes of after a while dealing damage a second time.
She gains armor- and magic resist. Her movement speed is also increased whilst enemies that dashes into the shield gets knocked down and takes damage.
She dashes forwards with the target, and if they hit a wall the target it stunned. Works great with HAMMER SHOCK.
She charges her hammer and smashes the ground forcing it to go up and knock back enemies back towards their base. If used instantly it knocks up enemies. Targets are untargetable whilst airborne. This ability is hard to master, use it wisely.
Tips and Tricks
If HEROIC CHARGE is used correctly and the target is stunned after hitting a wall, her HAMMER SHOCK is a perfect ability to use whilst the target is stunned, to get some dank *** damage going on. AW YEAH!
STEADFAST PRESENCE can block incoming dashes, but can also be used as a movement speed booster. Don't be afraid to use it like that. But if you are going into a fight with enemies that have a dashing ability, wait till the right moment and then use it. AW YEAH!
KEEPER'S VERDICT is hard to master, always remember that it knocks that towards their own base, not the way you point. Also remember that if used instantly it has a knock-up effect. AW YEAH!
