Hi, all this is my first guide so pardon me if anything went wrong.

First off, I would like start with what type of champion this is.. Akali is a rather Kill steal champion thanks to her ulti^^.. but yet again not all kills are steals. Akali has rather decent burst dmg and hunting capability.

Let mi first talk about akali's summoner spells:

Reccommended Spells:

: This is both good to chase and run away from team fights, not only that you can juke many spells with flash, it is quite the top choice for many champions too

: This is really good for champions who have tons of healing like warwick, soraka, taric, also it can help you finish off running champions

Other choices:

: Indeed this may be a gd choice, however flash is a better choice it enables you to flash over walls etc... ghost cant do that

: Yes it slows champions reduces dmg, BUT if they get away and you ran out of ulti how?

Spells NOT TO USE:

: Obviously not, this are meant for supporters not a ap burst

: Got shroud to hide why nid heal? If they get oracle, it would mean u go into team fights and die or u survive outside barely, no point healing...

Well Technically akali is a ad and ap champion because of her passive, some may choose to play her pure ap or hybrid, I choose to play it hybrid in runes but ap in-game. Some of you may say your crazy but hey it has helped me so far!


This is to enable akali's passive early game, some of you may ask why not just go magic penetration. Well akali does not need penetration after all she has one of the highest burst damage early and even late game!

Greater Seal of Vitality Survidability is important for akali, after all she would be dashing in and if they team is smart focus WILL BE ON YOU... This would help you alot or you can choose to go for dodge runes it is also possible however not encourage

Some early ap would be good, this would enable you to dominate lanes and your opponent would cry after bursting him down

Here is some penetration for really thick champions

Ok so now off to the item build, You start off with and 3 , reason being is because of your runes you have quite an early burst dmg hence you will be able to start with these items. After that your next recall, rush a for some lifesteal. This is very important as it allows you to lifesteal even more from your passive. From here on, it is rather simple, complete your sorcerer's shoe and you will be quite dominating at this point of time. After which you rush a for some survidability, then a . With the sheen's passive you will be probably killing many ppl now...Some of you may ask why not complete well i prefer to go for survidability first. After all, akali can dominate any squishies even without any items! After complete your and you can kill any1 from here on. After your rylai's, get a , By then you would be GOD-LIKE... From here on you would just complete your items in any sequence will do because you are already DOMINATING!

NOTE: BY THE TIME YOU GET LICH BANE THE GAME IS OVER EITHER YOU WIN OR YOU LOSE! YES IM NOT BLUFFING OUT OF MY MANY AKALI GAMES I HAVE HARDLY REACHED PAST LICH BANE AND PRATICALLY OWN ALL MY GAMES!

Now about laning, rule no.1: AKALI MUST TAKE A SOLO LANE! WHICH IS MID LANE FOR NORMAL GAMES OR TOP LANE FOR RANKED GAMES..

There are two parts in akali's skill sequence, one is for early game while the other is for during team fights.

Early game:
First, throw on the enemy champion. BUT DO NOT ATTACK HIM, wailt until your mark skill is almost refreshed. Use , burst him while the mark is on him, throw again and attack him right after that, then it would have probably left him with close to less than half health! For this technique, enquires you to wait for a few seconds, therefore it is not encourage during teamfights!
Note: This sequence would bring ALL I MEAN ALL SQUISHY CHAMPIONS to half health, even if they have runes!

Teamfights:
Throw , to the enemy champion, hit him then , put to slow him. By then your would have been refreshed, repeat the sequence and within 2 whole complete cycle the champion should be dead unless he is a tanker!

Ok for teamfights, akali is one of the best champion to aim at the other team! Unlike other ap carries, akali can easily focus champions who stand behind tankers and play real safe! When your tanker initiates, remmeber to always ulti behind to reach for the opponent carries, burst them down. When opponent changes focus on you, quickly put a shroud around yourself to prevent getting killed... Akali is a rather easy champion to play, just chase and kill chase and kill...

NOTE: AKALI IS EXTREMELY USELESS, when other team has tons of CCs, so what do you do then?
Make a round about, attack from behind, wait until opponent team has used their ccs rush for their carries and most likely you will be safe

Pros:

-Good early and late burst
-Easy to hide easy to run
-Can gank easily
-Squishies cant run from you

Cons:

-With tons of Ccs ur useless
-Opponent get Oracle shroud will be useless
