Akali is a good assassin. With her high ability power she can burst down and destroy enemies quickly. Also whenever youre in trouble or need time for abilities to cool-down, you can drop your W and wait inside and then jump at the enemy again. But she is very squishy and can die quickly. Thats why you buy the Zhonya's Hourglass and use the active to help stay alive.

She can deal very high damage from her abilities. She can burst enemy champions down quickly before they even get the chance to counter you. She can easily get fed early once you get your ult and get it stacked 3 times and then you can dash to them and destroy them. But you need to farm with your q and e. If you fall behind it is quite hard to get back up. The bad thing is that she is very squishy and could easily be killed. She uses energy which is good in my opinion. She has no crowd control abilites besides her W which slows but not very good cc.
