You should change your marks to flat AD to trigger your passive or Magic pen., you'll be relying more on you Q than on your auto attacks. Maybe change your quints too to flat AP or something.

If you're not doing well on lane get , if you're kicking arse get first.

I think you'll be more effective with something like this:
->Pot->-> and depending on how the game went->defensive item or one that adds ap and resistances/hp like , or even since you're not activating your passive due to lack of AD from runes or early items->->AP items.

True, but without the AP your spellvamp will be low, which is why I chose to save the hextech for later in the game, after NLD, my main source of magic damage. the problem with Akali builds is that they depend on the Game style of the person. someone may like to sit around and wait, gank more, push more. theres just so many things you can do
