To be completely honest as long as you've got AP and can land your e with the bonus damage you'll be alright, pair that with your W shield and your set bro

When I play the glory that is AP Sion i always tend to take ignite/flash to finish off kills that maybe i couldnt secure due to mana problems or other circumstances but it isn't the only option, taking tp in the midlane is another great option to make plays by Tp'ing to your team and ulting to engage or assist a team fight that could turn it to your edge.

Please, for the love of god, for the sake of all ranked players do not take this into the ranked rift this build is purely for some goodhearted fun to end tilts and tilt other while simeltaneously winning

Ah Farming with sion, always a pain, and to be honest, with AP Sion, it's even worse! But you chose to play this not me I just made the build :D but yeah, don't be afraid to farm with your Q, as long as your still have your dorans ring if you can take a few minions with your q do it and get the mana back from dorans plus reap the gold reward of killing those few minions, if you can avoid it don't spam your w or e to farm, you need them up for fights

Ludens Echo - Great to activate off of the bonus damage from sending a unit back with your E

Abyssal Scepter - In a lane ruled by mages it is always nice to have a bit of tankiness while simeltaneously lowering their defenses and raising your damage

Boots of Swiftness - Come on, Barry Allen, need i say more...

Rylai's Crystal Scepter - Bonus slow CC on your e, works really well to help to land your Q stun and might even give you time to get the explosion on your W shield's second active

Hextech Protobelt-01 - It's always important to build a little health on sion and I honestly just love this item on ap sion, that's it

Liandry's Torment - Honestly i feel the same about Liandrys as i do about the protobelt, it gives sion the perfect mix of stats he needs to bring the pain but at the same time to stay tanky
