Many people criticize Garen and Garen players alike for their low skill and troll. However, if you use Garen even halfway decently, you have the power to carry the world!

It is widespread believe that Garen is a low level starting champion, but if one was to take an in depth look at this Demacian hero, one would be revealed all of the deeper layers of this complicated and extremely hard to play but very rewarding champion.

I garentee you!! Garen is in fact one of the best champion you can select in a ranked game. i have mained him since last Tuesday and have carried myself out of elo hell!

The key to having a good rune page for Garen is not having any runes at all. This is to make life easier for your enemies. PLaying against the best champion in the poool is already a daunting enough task, and playing against a Garen with even a single rune is simply unreasonable.

Masteries are simple, simply take all of the utilities and you are good to go. Remember that even one second less of recall time can make or break your game. It might be that one second that gives time for one last hit on their nexus that wins you the game!

[*] Zhongya's Hourglass, the AP is useless but you need that little bit of extra armor. Not too much or it wil weigh too much, but not too little.
