UPDATED!! FOR SOME MONTHS, I REVEALED CHEAP AND EFFECTIVE BUILD ON GANGPLANK, 3RD BUILD FOR MORE INFO!!
Yarrr! In this guide i will focus on one most used build and on less used build but not less effective than first.
2nd: Tankplank (Rather Fighter than Tank, I chose word "Tank" only to sounds like "Gang"...)
These builds are different only at few things, first is useful when you face more armored and less aggresive team, second is awesome when enemies never focus other person than you and have tactic that allows them to quickly clean you out (to the spawn).. I emphasising that Tankplank build still do TONs of damage, but maybe you will lack some space for armor penetration, more crit chance etc..
Runes are focused on Critical chance Greater Quint of Malice , Armor penetration Greater Mark of Desolation and Cooldown reduction
Seal is optional.. you can pick what you want to (Dodge, Magic Res., Health per level, Critical chance, Cooldown reduction per level etc.)
Masteries are standart 21/9/0 focused on Physical Dmg, Cooldown reduction and some Magic resist..
If you want to build Tankplank, u can also build 9/21/0 but I dont recommend it..
On top of screen I placed there core items that are:
Next two items are optional, but not everyone, one of these (I will also write how often I use that items on 1st and 2nd build):
(on GANKPLANK: 75%/ TANKPLANK: 15%) I use this on heavy armored Tank/Offtank/Fighter team without squishy mages or carries.
(on GANKPLANK: 80%/ TANKPLANK: 20%) Awesome item, give you awesome +30%CRIT CHANCE, awesome movement speed, and also some attack speed, that is never bad on AD champion
(on GANKPLANK: 0%/ TANKPLANK: 80%) That item has perfect synergy with , since it increase your AD for every HP you have.. also some nice crit and armor...
(on GANKPLANK: 40%/ TANKPLANK: 15%) this item i dont use often as upper ones, but it is also nice item for GP, have all things you need AD, Critical, Armor Penetration and Cooldown reducion, also nice passive, build easily from your
another/ - (on GANKPLANK: 15%/ TANKPLANK: 25%) this will drive your enemies crazy (Parrrley = 1000 dmg, 680 health to you) I only buy it in matches that are longer than hour...
(on GANKPLANK: 5%/ TANKPLANK: 60%) final brick to your mighty tanky pirate...
why ? Your , and benefit so well because gankplank's abilities, exluding have basic cooldown over 15sec and that IS difference with 15% off... (ofc when you are facing Heavy AP / Heavy AD team, pick /
why ? This item is AWESOME! im wondered almost nothing build on mobafire havent it, and its so weird (main reason why i made this guide)
1. LIFESTEAL: +18% : This will help you alot in every phase in match.. will make you less dependant on (so you will be able to use it on its main function, removing CC)
2. CRITICAL CHANCE +15% : not much epic crit, but every point is important on GP,..
3. PASSIVE (DoT) : some say, this passive is big fail (overall 32 total dmg over 8seconds), its rather improvement to your passive, making it a bit more effective...
4. ACTIVE (reduced healing) : This is really useless on Gankplank since he have it in his passive.. but it is RANGED, so you dont have to get close to enemy to interrupt his healing...
overall, on 1600g it is nice item, Im buying it in ALL cases...
why ? IF YOU DONT KNOW IT, STOP PLAYING GANGPLANK!
because Gangplank is mana-starving early game, if you will dont have enough mana, it can be reason to completely suck in later phases of game... If you will be on lane with support, let clarity to him and pick some other Summoner Spell
because Gangplank need some more CC to be effective, also you can escape without any problems (if only one champ is chasing you)

1st - GANKPLANK
2nd - TANKPLANK
