Introduction
I will try to keep this short and sweet but yet still detailed. [Cassiopeia] is NOT an easy character to use. So if you do not do well do not blame only my guide. Practice with her a few times before playing in PvP, get a feel for her abilities and combos and squishiness. Also you do not have to follow this guide to the letter. If you need more survivability, get some. Much like [Cassiopeia] you need to be able to be aware of what's going on around and be able to react correctly to the situation.
PROS High Damage Great DoT with AoE Great Harrass with Noxious Blastand Twin Fang Good chaser with Noxious Blast Petrifying Gaze can be a game changer Underestimated Dmg from poisons by enemy |

CONS Hard to use Squishy Can be weak early compared to some DoT gives them time to hit back No hard CC Needs to be actively aware at all times. |
I like going just full AP, partially because I use my IP on buying tons of characters and still have yet to get around to buying more runes. But also most people don't build enough MR to really need MPen. If they do get MR it's usually just from Mercury's Treads which your Sorcerer's Shoes should be able to counter. If they do stack MR just get a Void Staff and that should fix that.
Again I like the more AP style and going down the Offensive tree rather than the Utility tree that many others like to use on Cassiopeia. Not much to say here really other than if you like something else better or find it works better for you go for that. This guide is not to be taken 100%.
Okay so here comes the always debated part of guides. I personally have done very well with this item build and sequence so far. I know many other guides like to build her more durable with items like Banshee's Veil or Rod of Ages, and the top guides don't seem to use Archangel's Staff. As my guide shows I build her with an Archangel's Staff because I feel her ability to be so spammable is too good to pass up and she won't have to worry about Mana either. Again the items are not set in stone. If they don't have MR but have some serious AD or burst and are focusing you go get a Rod of Ages or a Zhonya's Hourglass or a Banshee's Veil if they have some major AP burst.
Now for the item I am still on the fence about is Will of the Ancients. I like the spellvamp but that's about it. It lets me stay in lane longer and all but sometimes more AP or MPen or HP is better, especially late game. Just gotta learn to adjust to the situation.

"But I heard Cassiopeia was a bad champ" you say? Well that's because there are a lot of people that don't know how to use a champ that takes a lot of skill rather than right-clicking and never worrying *looks at Tryndamere* or smash face on keyboard and win characters *looks at Brand*. Cassiopeia is very hard to use but can be an awesome damage dealer and game changer if used correctly.
Her main damage source early game is Twin Fang after getting the poison from Noxious Blast. I use Miasma primarily for farming, and in teamfights, however I do use it for when I plan on exchanging hits 1v1 and they aren't likely to move around too much. And of course her Petrifying Gaze for when being chased and they have a slight edge over you but that few seconds of stun can be used to suddenly kill them and in team fights obviously.
EARLY GAME focus on harrass with Noxious Blast followed by Twin Fang but mostly focus on farming so you can get a Tear of the Goddess as early as possible to get those stacks.
MID GAME get some kills, even with very little AP your damage output should be pretty nice. Time for your combo: Flash, Petrifying Gaze, Ignite, Noxious Blast, Twin Fangx2, Miasma slightly behind them to slow their escape, then Noxious Blastand Twin Fang till they are dead.
LATE GAME they will have some damage dealers by then and you're still gonna be squishy. So try to keep your distance in team fights and poke their squishies as much as possible. When they start getting low from the poison they are probably to busy to notice then go in with Petrifying Gaze and finish off their carries quick and easy then focus the rest. It's all about timing and knowing how much you and your team can do to them in the duration of your stun.
