Matchups
LeBlanc -
Against LeBlanc, play passive and wait until level 2-3 then you can fight. If she gets too close to her minions Sweeping Blade > Steel Tempest. Also notice your minions, the enemy minion wave is coming at the same time so you can use Sweeping Blade on them to chase. Ignite early to see which one is a Mirror Image when she tries to escape. Predict LeBlanc going back to her Distortion by firing your third Steel Tempest at the Distortion box. Dodge her spells with minions. For more DPS Auto Attack before your Steel Tempest
Kassadin –
Against Kassadin level 1, try to contest every minion by using Steel Tempest and Auto Attacks if he walks up to take them.
Lissandra –
Against Lissandra be careful of over extending because her Ring of Frost and Frozen Tomb are two of the best Crowd Control spells in the game where you can’t block them with Wind Wall. Build quick silver sash straight after berserker’s greaves. You can block her Glacial Path with Wind Wall in the front.
Zed –
Against Zed level 1 you can let their minion wave push to your turret. This lets you get level 3 first and gives you room to chunk his health. Zed usually gets Razor Shuriken and Shadow Slash level 2. When Zed is about to hit level 6, save your Wind Wall if he uses Death Mark because if you don’t have Wind Wall for it he can double Razor Shuriken and do a lot of damage.
Twisted Fate –
Twisted Fate is an easy lane for Yasuo because you can block Wild Cards and Pick A Card with Wind Wall.
Akali –
Against Akali, play aggro until level 6 because her ult goes through Wind Wall and you can’t Last Breath Akali when she’s in her Twilight Shroud, only if she show’s up for a split second.
Fizz –
Against Fizz level 1, try to Steel Tempest and Auto Attack as much as possible when he tries to last hit minions. Level 1 is your biggest advantage against Fizz. When Fizz gets Playful / Trickster, try to make him use it. When he uses Playful / Trickster you can dive him if he is low health from your poking.
Katarina –
Against Katarina try to play aggro and push the first 2 waves to make her lose farm. You have better trades because you can use minions to Sweeping Blade away from a lot of her spells. If Katarina is level, don’t use Wind Wall to block Bouncing Blades because it can also block Death Lotus.

Macro
-If your jungler is ganking for you, it’s better if you burn Flash than your jungler because then your jungler can still use Flash when ganking again or other lanes
-After pushing, 900 gold is a good reset to buy another Doran’s Blade for sustain, a Refillable Potion, and a Dagger for Attack Speed and the Steel Tempest Cool Down Reduction
-You buy double Doran’s Blade against an enemy with high burst or poke and if you need the sustain from HP and lifesteal
-If the enemy mid laner is going near minions with low HP or mana they are probably baiting for a gank
-Moe prefers Quick Silver Sash + Ignite over Cleanse because Ignite gives you kill pressure and Quick Silver Sash has a lower Cool Down than Cleanse
-Make sure to have at least one knock up on your team because it really helps being able to catch people and blink over walls and get there in time after a team fight starts
-To end the game, look to catch people out or engage in a team fight if you have knock ups. You can also split push and probably be able to 2v1 because of Yasuo’s outplay potential
