Hello, I'm GarlandCombo! I play LoL in a regular basis and I will keep my summoner name as a secret. MUST.REMAIN.ANNOYMOUS. This is my first build guide on mobafire and I'm trying really hard to do the coding and such.

But anyway, this is NOT a build guide for Akali. But a way to counter her with champions/items. I hear a lot of people say, " Akali too OP, riot nerf please", but really, she's not that hard to counter. She has one of the weakest early games in my opinion. But, she has no CC except for Twilight Shroud or if she decides to get a Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Don't tell yourself that she has no escape ability, but a good Akali can use Twilight Shroud to escape or juke through the brush or jungle. This build will not show masteries or runes. You have to do your own. Keep scrolling down. The build awaits.

Akali deals bonus magic damage on autoattack and gains 6% spell vamp. Combined with Hextech Revolver, the spell vamp would be enough for Akali to stay in lane.

Akali spins her kama, dealing magic damage and marking an enemy. Autoattacks or Crescent Slash will consume the mark, dealing more magic damage and restoring energy. Akali's usually max this first.

Akali throws down a cover of smoke,giving her bonus armor and magic resist for 8 seconds and stealthing her while she's inside. Enemies who are in the area are slowed. Using abilities or attacking will reveal her for 0.65 seconds. When Akali tries to recall when she's inside the shroud, she will be revealed. YAY. This can also reveal the fog of war.

Akali flourishes her kamas, dealing physical and magic damage to all nearby units. This consumes Mark of the Assassin

Akali deals magic damage to the target and appears next to it. This does not consume Mark of the Assassin. This ability stores 3 charges, kinda like Noxious Trap. Akali gains an essence of shadow upon kill or assist.

. Be tankier, Yes. BE TANKIER. Akali only excels on killing the most squishiest targets he can find. *ahem, Your AD carry. She will have a much harder time killing you.

. Prevent her from getting any kills or farm. Pretty straightforward, Akali can snowball pretty well. Remember, she has a weak early game till level 6. Kill her before level 6.

. Get Oracle's Elixir or Vision Ward. Pretty simple, she's vulnerable and has no escape unless she shrouds in the jungle and shadow dashes a monster. Oracle's will help when you see her in Twilight Shroud or killing her sight ward.

This is good on when facing against her. You will get magic resist while reducing HER magic resist. Win win.

This will help you on surviving Akali's burst damage and she'll have a harder time killing you.

The tankiest option. I recommend only getting it when Akali is pretty fed.

As I said in the "Tips on countering Akali". This helps.

I really like this item when facing against Akali. Since Akali has almost no escape, the slows on this item will help you kill her.

This item has health AND magic resist. Pretty good on surviving more of dem burst.

This item gives you tons of health and mana, not to mention it heals your health and mana everytime you level up! Only get this item if you're having a really hard time.

Kinda like Rylai's Crystal Scepter but AD. This gives you 700 health, 200 more from Rylai's Crystal Scepter.
