Hello, Im MikeyFin and this is my first guide about Elise, the Spider Queen

I Play on Eune and Elise is my favourite champion at this moment.
She can be played in the Jungle, Mid or even Top too.

I Play with Elise on 5v5 Summoner's Rift mainly on Mid
Elise Has amazing ability to Poke from a distance and she has amazing burst if used right.

This Guide has been tested both ways and works good.
And this is Guide how I play Elise

F Like Flash, Should be always picked on Elise and other champions. It allows to Teleport to your cursor location. You can teleport through walls and it helps u to position yourself in teamfights. Amazing.

Good pick for Mid Lane, Single-Target spell on enemy champion what reduces enemy health regeneration and the healing effects received by 50%. And deals nice True Damage in 5 secs.

Usual pick on Jungle, Helps u to secure your kills on Baron Nashor, Drake, Ancient Golem and Elder Lizard. Deals 445-870 True damage. Has low Cooldown.

(Cannot be used on champions.)

Replace Ignite with this. This is good Slow spell with some attack damage reduction. If no-one else has this spell then u should pick it, But I recommend Ignite more.

Maximize W And Q first because they do the most Damage.
And helps u bursting enemy champions down

Put one point on E at Level 3 to survive early Ganks
Max it last.

Lets begin with Elises ultimate

Spider Form / Human Form

which is Learned automatically at lvl 1. It allows you to change forms between Spider Form and Human Form. Like Jayces Ultimate. There are 3 Different spells in both forms and changing form doesn't cost any mana. Lvling it up gives more spiderlings 2/3/4/5 and more Armor and Magic resist 10/15/20/25.

(Tips, Abilities Spider Form doesn't cost any Mana so feel free to spam some abilities.)



Next one is her Passive

Spider Queen

every time when you cast a spell in Human Form you ready a Spiderling. Means if u hit 3 ablities to an enemy. You ready 3 spiderlings and when you turn into a Spider Form, 3 Spiderlings will spawn next to you and fight for you.

(Tips, Start bursting from Human Form so u can ready spiderlings same time.)



Then I will explain you her Q

Neurotoxin / Venomous Bite

Neurotoxin Casts Single-Target ranged bolt, which deals percentage damage based on Targets current health. (Tips, begin your combo with this spell so it deals more damage)

Venomous Bite, Charges to enemy champion dealing single-target damage based on missing health.
(Tips, Venomous Bite can be used as Gap Closer or Nice Finishing spell, and Spiderlings attack the target u Lunge at).

Volatile Spiderling / Skittering Frenzy

This is your sustain spell and nice poke.

Volatile Spiderling, You send out and Spiderling to place you want and it will explode and deal great AoE damage to first enemy it hits. If the Spiderling doesn't hit anyone it will seek an enemy near by and explode in 3 seconds or near target.
(Tips,This ability is amazing for Bush checking, FoW Checking and poking. If you hit Venomous Bite when Volatile Spiderling is alive it will Lunge at the same target and explode near by.)

Skittering Frenzy Leveling this up will raise your spiderlings passive attack speed by 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% And on activation it will raise your and your spiderlings attack speed for 60/80/100/120/140% and every attack your spiderling make it will heal small amount of your health. This ability should be maxed First

This ability gives you nice damage output with healing inside of it. You can use it as sustain. THIS SPELL IS TOWER DESTROYER!.

Cocoon / Rappel

Is your Stun/Escape Ability this ability will save your life many times.

Cocoon is Long Ranged skill shot stun, it will stun first enemy it collides with.

(Tips, When running away from someone hit this behind you and run like hell!)

Rappel This ability will lift up in the airs and let you become untargetable for 2 seconds and show nearby enemies, or you can cast it on enemy too what lets you to leap on your enemies with your spiderlings.

(Tips, Use rappel over walls to nearby neutral jungle camps when escaping. Rappel and Venomous bite combined are 2 nice Gap Closers use these when ganking/chasing. Rappel has very long cooldown so use it advisedly. Use this to Dodge Global Ultimate like Death Lotus, Requiem )

Good player should know when to get this item, You should get this item when you are Powning in your lane easily with smthing like 3-0 stats, Get this item after Chalice of Harmony.



This is amazing item u should rush for. Elise needs some slows badly, and hp + ability power buff is amazing on this item.

Replace it with Rod of Ages

This is a MUST item on Elise, It will boost your AP and Burst damage to the skies. Nice 30% bonus is good.



Good Ability power item with some magic resistance in it, and the aura is amazing. This is good item to have too.

Replace with Athene's Unholy Grail

Must item for extreme Burst damage. Gives u magic peneration, which is good against everything! You should get this earlier if enemies stack Magic Resist.


Lich Bane is nice item. It contains Speed which is very useful for Elise because of her slow base movement speed. Same time Lich bane gives Ability power and Magic resistance, and Passive makes Elise's bursts even higher.



Get this item if enemy team has too many AD champions. This item gives high ability power and some armor too + Passive makes gives you 2sec freeze.



If you are going good on your lane and have lots of money and someone else has Abyssal Mask, you should go for this item. It gives some mana regenration, nice Ability power, and Some Cooldown Reduction which makes it Good item for Elise.



These boots are good for Elise too because Elise needs some Cooldown reduction too. If you are going to get CDR boots you should get Void Staff bit earlier.



Well I don't know what to say about this. It gives 20% spell vamp and Nice Ability Power, If u got Hextech Revolver instead of 2 dorans at Jungling u should go for this later.



If u need some more Mana and Health, Take this item

Replaces Rylai's Crystal Scepter

But anyway I like Rylai's Crystal Scepter more because of the slow and instant 80 AP.

Farming is amazingly easy on Elise.

Last hitting should go well because 3 points on Brute Force and u can last hit with Q Neurotoxin and Venomous Bite easily.

Volatile Spiderling Deals amazing AoE Damage good for pushing and farming.
Skittering Frenzy is good for pushing towers and getting some Health back.

I've found out that ALWAYS KEEP 3-5 Health Potions with you!

Start with buy Boots and 3 Health Potion
Then put One point on W -VOLATILE SPIDERLING/SKITTERING FRENZY-
Your jungle route begins with Blue Buff, Ancient Golem.

(Ask Middle lane to pull Blue Buff)

First use W then move to spider form and W again then use your Smite to Finish of Ancient Golem Then put one point on Q or E depending are u trying for early gank. After that go for Wolves then move up to Wraiths Then Red Buff, Lizard Elder use your Smite again if possible. Then finish Double Golems and if u have enough Health try go for Gank or Recall.

Counter-Jungling should be easy with Rappel.
